Remarks

I applied in MNNIT only. I applied under DASA which is a scheme for foreign and NRI students. The criteria for admission was a minimum of 1800 marks in SAT (with subjects Chemistry, Physics & Maths). A cutoff list was provided according to the SAT score and number of students who applied for the particular course and college.

Course Curriculum Overview

I found physics and maths very interesting in 12th and wanted to explore more in this field not from a research point of view but in general understanding. The ratio was roughly around 1:15. All of them were P.Hd holders. Exams took place on time and they were tough to pass.

Class Size: 35Course Fees: INR 125000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Company - Amazon Stipend - Rs 50000 per month; position- Software Development Engineer Company - Bajaj : Stipend - Rs 15000 per month; position- Trainee There were projects under different clubs like SAE, Robotics, etc.

Placement Experience

Students become eligible for internships from 5th-semester and for placements it was 7th. Most of the CS and IT get placed. But core students find it a bit difficult to find a job in the core sector. I want to join an organization and work with it to enhance my knowledge and skills.

Fees and Financial Aid

There was a fee hike in 2019 due to an increase in infrastructure spending. There was various scholarship program (Government + Private). There was a provision of Rs 20000 for toppers of every branch and year.

Campus Life

Avishkar-Technical fest (October). Swagat - Fresher's (August). Culrav, Ruksat. Most of the books were available in the library and the lending system was also there. Most of the sports activities were played like cricket, football, volleyball, basketball, chess, badminton, carrom, lawn- tennis, etc. There were many clubs like Dramas, SAE, Robotics, Aerodynamics, etc.

Hostel Facilities

Every room had a chair, table, bed, almirah, etc. Meal quality was Average. Pure vegetarian food was given in mess. Hostels were allotted to everyone who asked for and pricing was affordable. The locality was environment friendly.

Placement Experience:

After 6 th semester you are eligible for campus placement. Many companies are comes likes Accenture, Cognizant, Wipro, TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Cagegimini etc and they offer decent package. Highest package 3000000 and average package 400000 and profile offered as for company required. 80 percentage student get placement. Take a placement in good MNC company.

Actually I didn't research on the placement. But in college campus I saw many boards of placed students and the average package is around 4-4.5lakh per annum.and college data says about 90%of students are placed. I am preparing for both off-campus and on campus placement.

Placement Experience:

Our college offer good placement it has average placement of 11 Lpa. Highest package of 52 lpa in Google. There are many company like TCS, L&T, GOOGLE, MICROSOFT, IBM and many more visited our college. If you have CGPA greater than 7 then you are eligible for maximum placement drive. My plan is to get government job.

I choose this course because I want to be a software developer. The faculty are very kind and helpful. Almost every faculty member has completed there post-graduation from various established colleges. The examination scheme is a little bit slow here. Students can pass their semester exams if they are paying at least 45 per cent of their concentration.

MNNIT- A path to Bright Future

One of the important reasons for choosing this college is because of its unique and brilliant placement records. and also it is one of the best NIT in North. Basically I want a college that is not much distant from my state Haryana and should be good also and this alligns perfectly with my scenarios. Talking about the admission process, first you have to clear JEE Mains with a good rank like for CSE your rank be between 1K to 9K . If you want to take admission in this college irrespective of any branch you rank should be under 30K. But this data is not fixed , it changes every year depending on the difficulty level of JEE Mains. and then apply for the JOSSA councelling and there you can keep this college in your choice an dif your rank is good enough, you will get it.
