the admission process was smooth all I had to do was to register online pay the application fee and then post that to the college address on the day of stream allotment there was an introduction to the college and its working followed by speeches given by senior authorities and then the seats were allotted. the criteria for general admission was the jee main ranking of the students and in my batch, the case seats were allotted till 50k rank before upgradations
Course Curriculum Overview
in terms of academics, it's one of the best institutes any student can get into most of the courses which are taught are according to the need of the hour and most of that faculty who are at least Ph.D. holders try their best to teach students and solve their doubts accordingly but being an engineering college the students need to do self-study for grasping the concepts and skills for rapidly changing technological markets
Internships Opportunities
the Dw Shaw offered an internship with stipends of 100K INR along with living, food, and travel expenses covered by the company, the Inuit also offered an internship of 80K INR with an offer of PPO of 35LPA
Placement Experience
the university has a 92% placement ratio with tech companies like adobe and amazon coming on campus and students get offers from other FAANG companies via off-campus placements though the avg CTC is about 4LPA the highest on campus reaches 40+LPA and the majority of non-mass recruiters offering CTC of 12LPA. the univ also provides a platform for students to apply for an internship in companies like Dw Shaw and INuit
Fees and Financial Aid
The Fees for my first year were 114000 per semester which increases by the amount of 10-15k per sem after 2 sem. but due to the Novel Coronavirus pandemic, we were given 15k aid in development fees. the university itself doesn't provide any scholarships but provide information to the scholarships which are provided by State Govt'
Campus Life
the institute has more than 20 recognized clubs that host various events throughout the year. the library of the university which is commonly called the Learning and Resource Center (LRC) has more than 50000 books and the number keeps increasing LRC also has various research papers and other information which might come in handy in gaining ideas for projects and other things. the entire campus is having a centralized Air Conditioning system which got renewed in 2020 for better cooling of the classroom and hostel rooms
