Earlier I applied for Chandigarh university but my parents wasn't allowing me to go outside the jammu so i chooser smvdu. No quota was availed by me for taking admission in smvdu . You need 50% marks in graduation to take admission in the school of business of smvdu and there are no such age criteria. Taking admission here is not that much-complicated a process we just have to fill up the admission form through an online portal and then they will send you to offer letter if your name gets short-listed.

I WANT TO DO MBA BECAUSE I WANT TO MAKE MY CAREER IN CORPORATE WORLD AND I WANT TO EARN GOOD MONEY .MBA PROVIDE THAT OPPORTUNITY. Over 87 students there are 8 teachers in smvdu. Teachers in smvdu are highly qualified and have done Ph.D. and MBA and are MBA gold medalists. Passing the exam was quite difficult for me and exams are timely taken.

After the completion of 2 sem students are eligible for the campus placement ICICI, SRIRAM , PRESCON are the companies that visit here for the on-campus placement and they offer the role of a salesperson. 380000 is the highest package they provide and 280000 is the lowest package. 40-50% of students get placed here. I'll be focusing more on govt job.

It's quite expensive for me to study here it cost around 500000 rupees to get an MBA degree from smvdu and this also includes hostel and mess fee but when we compare other colleges who provide MBA courses in Jammu are quite affordable then smvdu . No scholarship was availed by me in the smvdu

Tatva is our management fest which is organised by management student after every 2 year . Titriksha is our tech fest that is organised in the month of December In Smvdu library, the library is loaded with a good amount of books and journals. For each sport, there is a specific playground or court here and there are timely event is organized for sports activities, and for other co-curriculum activities festive events are arranged on the campus Nss is the only social group run by the students here
