Remarks

College management should take more care to improve the standards of student behavior and can organised workshops for personality and communications development as a lot of students come from small towns and can use such support for job interviews.

Entrance Preview

MP PET Reputation of college was positive placements were better than others in that pool. Networking is very strong alum stay connected faculty as well is supportive even after you pass out recommendations are good for further study.

Course Curriculum Overview

1.5

It was comprehensive the curriculum is a mix of useful theory based and practical subjects. First year is about all basic subjects. They teach you basics of civil, electrical, electronic, computer, etc. You can expect good support from seniors and colleagues. Attendance is an important factor in getting you high overall marks. As you final result is based on both your performance in the written exams and practicals throughout the year. Make sure you are a regular student to get good sessional marks as this majorly affects your overall percentage for the year and eventually, your GPA.

Internships Opportunities

Not really. You have to try this on personal levels. However, this is not fixed. You can target unpaid internships that might help you add some weight to your resume. But this has to be mostly your work to look for the right internships with the help of your seniors and colleagues.

Placement Experience

2

They leave no tables unturned when it comes to both preparing you for placements and providing you a pool of companies to try to get into. TCS is the mass recruiter, so can be Syntel. But most companies that come in for this would be offering software jobs. So, you have to be very active to find about local placement events that have focussed placement for electrical, etc. Packages can vary from 3 lacs to 7 but can vary.

College Events

2.5

Some usual cultural events such as annual day/ week are celebrated with a lot of enthusiasm. There are some competitions such as dance, extempore, etc you can participate in. With regards to tech events, you can be a part of the IEEE society with a nominal fee and explore about tech events.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is a private college but fee structure is decided by RGPV. It is affordable. Fee has to be paid every year I guess. Transportation fee is separate and is decided by the institute fee can vary for every batch as the structure is subject to change.

Fees and Financial Aid

Not really you have to look for study loan options very easy to avail from government banks the college does not offer any scholarships to my knowledge.

Campus Life

1.5

More number of males than female students enroll for the engineering program. All Indian students because it is not an international college or anything the labs are fine, equipped with basic facilities quality is average. Cleanliness has a scope for improvement.

Hostel Facilities

1.5

Hostel space is fine the services are okay the mess food is average and the canteen is average there can be some eateries around. But the city of Indore is flooded with loads of street food shops at affordable prices. So, food is never a problem private accommodation is also a good option for people looking to save money.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni are everywhere as a lot of alum go for international MS programs to US they can be helpful if you can find them on social media and be in touch with them.

Exam Structure

Every semester has theory and practical exams. You have to prepare to pass in each! If you are not able to make it in the first attempt, the subjects are carried forward for you to clear. But it increases the load on you as you would have the subjects of the successive term anyway. If you fail in several attempts, you are made to repeat the year.

Admission

Entrance exam state, called PET next step is counselling process for which you get a call from RGPV. You can choose a branch and college based on the vacant seats available for you to choose from. As the process involves calling students for counselling based on ranks in the entrance test. Higher scorers get calls first and further candidates are called in the descending order of their ranks.

Faculty

2

They are very well qualified, highly experienced and experienced and committed to your useful learning. Which is why, they will expect you to be sincere in your work in the particular subject. You can build relationships with them for very long term. They are very supportive when it comes to recommending you for further study.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Jiwaji is Government university which have a long heritage. But is now coming to the short end of the rope. Institute of Engineering Jiwaji is fairly newly established around 20 to 30 years or so. The faculty is not that great and is not that experienced and have less facilities. Faculty of IEJU is mostly on temporary payroll with some of the permanent faculty. You have entire leasure of time to yourself. So, thing other than couese can be pursued. Hostel facilities are good. If we come to exams Other than Pharmacy and Engineering all other course have tomoy scheduled exams with strict checking and scoring.
