I have taken the JEE mains examination. Ofcourse considering my rank my prime interests which were electronics and computer science i opted to choose this college. I scored 177/360 in this exam.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course structure here is excellent. The main emphasis given on topics related to the core subjects only unlike other colleges. And students are always open to research. A bunch of student are alloted a professor under whom these students can learn a lot of new things and do research in their field of interest.
Internships Opportunities
With reference to the placement year 2k15–2k16, many FT companies also provided an internship opportunity to the 3rd year students. This all thing is taken care by the placement coordinator for the respective year. And whether easy or difficult is to get an internship is all dependent upon the talent pool of your batch and matching company requirements.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The point is that since IIITA is an indian institute, fully funded by MHRD , the fees will be affordable and will be marginally higher than the NITs as it has modern infra and much better facilities. The fee structure for 2016 is approx. ₹1.25 lakh including all the tuition fees, mess fee, hostel fee etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
The scholarships you can get are Merit incentive award: 36k per odd sem if you are in top 10, Merit cum means: awarded on basis of income of family and your performance. 18k per semester, Government scholarships: above two are given at institute level.
