Remarks
Admission was a simple process. The student must have 80% minimum grades to be selected for admission. The procedure was systematic and smooth and the college reverted to every student within a week about whether they were selected or not.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose Bcom (Commerce) to simultaneously focus on another professional course. The faculty supported all students doing professional courses alongside college and helped us with college work and outside the syllabus. Exam timetables will be announced a week prior and it is easy to pass if one was attentive during class. Faculty was always available before college (for evening college) and after college (for morning college) for any doubts to be clarified.
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities will be provided within the college and companies within the locality who are providing internship opportunities will be collected by the college and circulated among students. Staff and seniors will guide the juniors through the internship process until a student is provided with one.
Placement Experience
Students from the final year of college will be trained for placement opportunities. Students must have 0 arrears to be eligible for placement. Renowned companies like TCS come in for a=campus recruitment.
Fees and Financial Aid
Multiple scholarships are provided, including Jain students since it is a Jain college. If a student requires any, they can always approach the department staff and they will guide you through the scholarship process. Students can also intern at the Aavin parlor on the college campus and avail other internship opportunities if requested.
Campus Life
There are over 10 clubs within "Shakthi Cell" in the college, such as folk dance, NSS, NCC, RJ/VJ, etc. and a student can choose anyone within the first few months of joining college. They will also be provided the opportunities to perform on the campus. A library is available next to the canteen and every student will be provided with a library card. Classrooms have a digital face recognition attendance machine to be recorded before and after college. Sports such as basketball, archery, badminton, cricket are provided with necessary coaching. Forums such as Enactus are solely run by students and are recognized internationally. Multiple intra-college and inter-college competitions will be circulated among all departments for students to participate.
