The college management is very strict sometimes it feels good but sometimes it really irritates overall we came for study and went after the task was completed.

I took UPTU-2010, I scored 355 with General rank 19527 and OBC rank approax 6800 and same year I took admission to this college. I opted for this college as this was the first private technical institute of U.P. having good status and quality of education. I also searched for the placement record at that time and found good. In fact after passing out in 2014 I got selected in a top MNC named Accenture for Mumbai location as software engineer.

I opted for Electronics & Communication Engineering. Course was good. The labs were having the proper instruments at the same time some were missing also. The course was really research oriented for the whom, who were interested for the research career.

No, to my knowledge till 2014 there were no internship provided by college,although I have heard that they were planning to arrange such program from the next academic year.

Till 2014 following is the details. approax 70% of my batch were placed including ON+OFF campus placement both. Company details is as follows, L & T 3.2LPA, Robo species Pvt. Limited, Noida 1.8 LPA, ACCENTURE( off campus) 3 LPA, MINDTREE Banglore 3.2LPA these were the top recruiter. and also many more visited.

Every year a lot events are organised in my college. During my stay following events were arranged including technical, cultural, management festivals. "SPANDAN" annual college fest, ROBOTIS WORKSHOP, Microsoft workshop, ECOCA workshop, IEEE events, GREEN flare workshop, blood donation camp i mainly participated in College fest, robotics events, and ECOCA workshops.

The fee structure was expensive following is the details of fee I paid to my college (2010-14 batch) first year 1.74 lack, Second year 1.15 lack, Third year 1.23 lack, Fourth Year 1.23 lack this includes tuition fee+ hostel fee for every year.

To my knowledge scholarship facilities were available to only extremely poor students. I had not availed any type scholarships from the college.

Gender ratio was 75:25 for male and female there was a good variation of background of students poor to rich, all religion there was a good atmosphere for the study the labs were attended by students. Annual cricket league was organised. Annual quiz were organised including both technical and general every year in the annual college fest ROBOTICS events were organised with entry of Outside colleges.

The hostels were in good condition there were single, double, and triplet rooms depending on the choice of student. There were AC rooms were also but were too expensive.Following were the facilities provided mess facilities, Sports facilities, TV rooms, Rest rooms, Medical facilities the qualities were good for some but not good other as per opinion of friends. PG facilities were not available upto the mark.

There is a strong alumni network of college on facebook named KNMIET family seniors definitely help in any type query many help in reference for the students in placement process.

I will say sometimes it was really hectic with suffering with time to complete the assignment, lab work also most important attendance. But many times it was cool with going labs and chilling out and having bunked some classes. Overall it was good for some and also bad for some.

First notification of UPTU was released in January- February that year. I filled the form and prepared for the same. I appeared in UPTU-2010 in april that year. Result came after 2 months. Then counselling was going in HBTI Kanpur, where I appeared and opted for this college. The college administration is very strict known for discipline.

The teachers were well qualified for the course but some were not upto the standard. Almost all were PG degree holdars except few. They were interested in teaching and have dedication for their duties. The standard was good some were highly educated and experienced from colleges like IIMs.
