Remarks
I have applied to Sri Krishna Arts And Science College. I chose this college because it is the best college for B.com in Coimbatore. The admission process was very simple had visited the college for admission after the 12th result, they asked in detail about me, my marks, and my contact details so that they would contact me once the admission process starts. They had contacted me after few days for an interview. I had given the interview and the interviewer was impressed with my marks. Later they gave me an admission form which I filled and along with it had to pay the first sem fee.
Course Curriculum Overview
I had opted B.Com as through this I will be able to easily find a proper career as it gives a wide range of options in the field of business as well as accounts. In each class, there are minimum of 60 students. The teachers are well qualified in their respective fields and have a lot of knowledge. Exams take place in alternative months starting from the 1st-month end than in the third month then one just before the semester.
Internships Opportunities
Through my seniors and faculty have come to know that internships are been provided by the college which has helped the seniors to work under targets and also help them in giving an idea of how actual work takes place. Through these internships have come to the real value of money because they were paid a stipend for their job done on time. They also came to know more about themselves especially the place they lack while doing the internship in their field chosen by themselves.
Placement Experience
I am just in my first year so do not have experience with the placement. I gained a lot of information about the placement and had come to know that many companies have been to the campus for recruiting different students in different fields companies like Infosys, Tata consultancy, and many more have recruited.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is reasonable and feasible. I don't have much idea about the scholarship or financial assistance. The campus job offers come from really good companies like Infosys in which students are recruited. In the 2019-2020 year there were almost 2020 students who got jobs through it.
Campus Life
The campus is green and clean. My college is 1st in Swachh Bharat mission. It is an anti-ragging campus. There are a lot of clubs like the NCC NSS Rotary club and many more. These clubs help in shaping the personality of individuals and students can choose their club according to their interests. According to the information I gained from the seniors there were many fests conducted by different clubs and members. Many sports events were also conducted in each sport in cricket basketball football and many. There are many sport and extracurricular activities conducted in college that help the students to outshine.
