Remarks
I had applied for very few colleges as getting into IBS Mumbai was my target. IBS conduct their own exam which is IBSAT and they also take scores of NMAT and CMAT. I opted for IBSAT and for me it was a 5 step admission process. In the first step, I filled the application form and was appointed a coordinator who guided me on how to fill the form and other queries. In the second step, I gave IBSAT in the month of December and the difficulty level of the exam was easy to medium. In the third step, within 10 days I received a call from IBS for the interview process. In the fourth step, the interview process was conducted in Hyderabad which included a GD/PI process, within 20 days I received a call for selection in IBS Gurgaon according to my score which got upgraded in some days and I was eligible for IBS Hyderabad as well, I chose to go for IBS Mumbai. In the 5th step, the onboarding happened in the first week of June. The process happened very smoothly.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course as it not only gives importance to curricular activities but it also gives importance to extracurricular activities and works on the overall personality development of the students. the batch size is huge and so are faculties. there are 39 permanent faculties and many visiting faculties. Most of the faculties are either PhD or have done MBA from reputated MBA colleges, they all have a teaching experience of more than years. faculties here believe in teaching via interacting with students through activities, homework, etc. There were special PACT sessions organised once a week for acing in the GD/PI process of the companies. Talking about the exams there is end term exams, midterm exams and regular class tests, class presentations whose marks were incorporated in evaluating the final marks. The exams were not easy and to crack the exam one has to study hard throughout the year.

The college has a huge library with a good number of books it also contains a reading room where students can sit and peacefully study. Every classroom has centralised AC, a smart class and comfortable furtinutres.
Interview Experience
The admission process consisted of a written test and a GD/PI process. The written tests had an average difficulty level. There were abstract topics in GD and in the final PI round the interviewers asked many questions related to past education, future plans and many current affair questions. I prepared everything by myself, read alot about current affairs, the economy and some general frequently asked interview questions.
