It's worth it

Following my boards, I immediately took my UPSEE (AKTU) exam, and when the results were announced, I passed with good ratings. I went through online counselling and decided on a course of action. Fortunately, I got to this college in the first round. It was one of my top five options, so I paid the seat-locking fee and confirmed my enrollment. The key argument for choosing this college, in particular, is that it is the highest-rated private college among all colleges in Lucknow. I was admitted, and the coursework began in August. I was given a fantastic induction session that was quite motivational for students like us who had just started college. Also, because the college was not far away, I enrolled as a day student.

I chose the Computer Science branch because it is one of the most popular these days. I chose this trade because I am passionate about coding. In the first semester, the curriculum included general subjects as well as one core subject. Proper lectures were presented by trained faculty, and lab experiences occurred in addition to regular examinations for practice. In terms of ratios, there was one faculty member for every 40 student. Any changes to the curriculum made by AKTU were implemented immediately in the college. After roughly a month, we were requested to provide feedback on our faculties, which was treated seriously. Before the final semester, there were two internal tests.

Our college offers both types of internship opportunities. Companies like Adobe, HCL, etc every year schedule programs for student internships along with good stipend values. A variety of projects and tasks are made during this interning period by the students. Mostly, students turn these internship opportunities into job offers eventually.

After 6th-semester students are allowed to sit in GDs and PIs. And students can sit in as many opportunities as they want to. Companies like Infosys, Oppo, Jaro are in regular tie-up with our college. Their campus drives are organized every year. The average package offered is 3-4 LPA and the highest is 1.3 Cr PA to date. 90% of students get placed during college placements in good companies with descent packages. I am also trying my best to get a good offer in my placement.

The pricing structure is rather reasonable; it is around 90,000, including caution money and other expenses that are paid only once during the course. The college provides two forms of scholarship aid, the first of which is the up scholarship. There is a separate section for all assistance and questions about scholarship forms and other things. In a nutshell, 90% of students are awarded scholarships. The institution also awards meritorious students and financially disadvantaged students with scholarships. I have not yet been placed because I am in my third year, but past batches have been placed in product-based firms such as Infosys with competitive pay packages such as 7 LPA.

Ambalika hosts events for college students like Aahwan which was huge and totally fabulous. Other than that there are other events like sports day in which students actively participate and play with zeal and enthusiasm. The library is good and provides books to students for free. The students need not buy books as the books are provided by the college library itself.
