Remarks
I had been preparing for the B-School entrance exams for about 8 months as I was also working. If you dedicate about 5 months that should be sufficient to score decent grades. I appeared for CAT, CMAT, CET, MAT. My admission process to WeSchool was based on the cumulative score of CAT and CMAT. You have a cut off for CAT which was 65 during 2020, if you score below cut off your chances plummet. The assessment of your profile happens based on your essays that you are needed to submit about 3 to 4 weeks prior to the GD and interviews. For this, you will have to study the profiles of courses carefully. Have a clear vision of why you want to do this course and try not to copy from anyone as your interview is heavily based on these essays. Keep your resume up to date and don't lie in it. The GD will give you a great experience, the topics are fairly simple but your confidence and articulation have an impact. The interviews are very practical, don't lose confidence and keep it real!
Course Curriculum Overview
Business design is a fairly new course with a heavy focus on Design Thinking. It is a general management course and you won't have specialization per se. The batch size in the Mumbai campus is 60. And all general mgmt subjects are taught in the first trimester. The faculty are internal as well as guest faculty with industry experience. If you are eager to learn, the faculty will leave no stone unturned to give you relevant opportunities. Most faculties have a PhD and ~10 years of teaching experience. You will have 2 midterm tests and 1 final exam. Midterms are for internal marks along with the final projects you will be doing. Many assignments help you understand the subject better. If you pay attention and try to be practical with the theory taught to you, passing exams is quite easy.

Campus Life
Our covid batch is desperate to go to the college. There is a freshers party, lots of events, guest lectures, Tech and cultural fests, Impact - the biggest B-School cricket tournament and many more such events. Right now with everything virtual we have casual meetups whenever possible, online of course.
Interview Experience
There is 1 round of group discussion where 10-12 students are given a topic and 3to5 minutes to prepare. The discussion time is 10 minutes. You are judged on the validity of said points, confidence, social interaction and ability to lead the conversation. For the final interview, you will face 2 panellists. It could be casual interaction or a pressure situation. In any case, remain calm, collect your thoughts and be as precise as possible. Do not lie on the resume or your interview as they are experienced people and you don't want to look bad later. To prepare for this, be acquainted with current affairs, world politics, local news, top companies. If you don't know a particular answer don't babble, be honest. Be thorough with your resume.
