Remarks
I applied for IISWBM and ISB and a few others but did not go through their process as my admission with IEM was complete. I did not any quota for admission. The minimum marks required is 65% above in CAT/MAT and 70% throughout till graduation. On the day of admission there was GD/PI followed by a Personal Interview round.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course has a lot of future opportunities and exposure. The Teacher: Student ratio is 1:100. Most of the faculty members are research associate at IIT and IIM. Two Mid Terms at the gap of 1 month. Followed by a Viva and End Semester Exam.
Internships Opportunities
Sales Associate, Research Associate and Business Analyst Intern, Finance Associate are some of the roles offered during the Internship. The work could be anything starting from cross-selling to Brand management in Marketing based on the requirement.
Placement Experience
Placement for Finance is Excellent with a very good package, for Marketing is Good as it sales cum primary research-based and Business Analytics is also good as it a new course introduced from 2019. Logistics also has excellent opportunities. PWC, E&Y, Dorma Kaba, Flipkart, Tech Mahindra, IDFC, HDFC. 90% of students get placed on campus. My plans after my MBA is to pursue a career in Business Analytics.
Fees and Financial Aid
Per semester fees 1,60,000. Total course fees 6,40,000. The scholarship includes the research opportunities at Rene Business School scholarship, France. National University of Singapore, Singapore. Brunel University, London. Financial Aid of 1,00,000 was given to each student on completion and successful publication of the Research Paper at the National University of Singapore.
Campus Life
Annual Fest Srijan takes place in October with a lot of celebrity endorsement and Brand Management. A Lot of Foreign Author single copy prints are available in the library. Classrooms are wide-spaced auditoriums with digital boards and speakers for presentation. Sports are mandated for all students. There are clubs running for each of the specialization led by one or two faculty. Each student has to be a part of atleast two clubs and actively participate for successful completion of the degree.
Interview Experience
GD topics mostly included Abstract, Current Affairs, and Merger Acquisition based. GD was followed by a Personal Interview. I mostly studied the GD topics from India Bix and newspaper. Try to be calm while attempting the GD is the main key point.
