One of the best college in Uttar Pradesh

Madan Mohan Malviya Institute of Technology was the among top most colleges in Uttar Pradesh . Earlier it was known as Madan Mohan Malviya Engineering college even today people of gorakhpur called it Engineering College . I gave MET (Malviya Entrance Exam and got admission here , Earlier student got admission throught MET or Jee Mains , but from 2021 it only accept JEE MAINS Exam .There are total 150 seats in Civil ,Mechanical , Electrical , Electronics and Computer Science branch and only 75 seats in IT and Chemical branch.MMMUT also offter admission to diploma holding student in second year by Btech Lateral Entry.For admission in first year the candidate should have passed 10+2 examination with at least 55 percent marks and with at least 60 percent average marks in Physics ,Chemistry and Mathematics.

I choose Electronics and Communication Branch as it has wide scope . All the faculty is well educated and well trained , they are very supportive there teaching method are very good and especially practical sessions were awesome .Talking about student ratio 30+ girl in a batch of 166 students. Every semester you have to give minor and major exams ,you will pass these exam by regular study.

Almost 70-80 percent students are placed in this course. Top recruiting companies are TCS , Infosys, Wipro . Some of the student got placement offer from top companies about 30 lac per annum package. Average package of our college is 3 lac per annum. Many student got internship offer from private companies and also govt organization like DRDO and ISRO.

Fees of B.tech course is 90000 for day scholar and 110000 for hosteller excluding mess. The scholarship and financial assistance offered by mmmut - Scholarship for 2nd and 3rd year meritorious and economically weaker student -amount of rs 24000 is given per year.

Life at MMMUT is very good , student enjoy a lot along with study here. All types events and fest are conducted for all round development there are many registered club in college. The biggest fest of mmmut is TECHSRIJAN - It is the biggest technomanagment fest with have a lots of memories and experience. Talking about library all kinds of books and journals are available and college also provide online library facilities to students. There are many clubs and societies the the two most famous are SAE and Robotic Club .

There are total 11 hostels in MMMUT .Boys hostel is far away from department but girls hostel are near the department. The new renovated rooms are very good and beautiful .Student of gorakhpur don't get easily hostel but students whom houses are far away they get easily hostel .Talking about mess it was off on Saturday so it was having fun with friends to go out for dinner. For PG and rented room you get easily outside the campus not very far but within 500 meter with affordable rate.
