The admission process includes qualifying minimum entrance exams criteria( In 2020, minimum of 75 %ile in CAT was required). Other scores such as XAT, GMAT, and ATMA are acceptable. then GDPI and after qualifying GDPI 3 rounds of merit lists were released by the college after combining the score of both.

I choose Business Design due to its unique curriculum which promotes out-of-the-box thinking. The course is designed to provide the students an Innovative, User-centric approach in aspects like problem-solving, product designing, etc. The approach is widely known as Design Thinking. Other management subjects are taught regularly along with the Design subjects. Classes in my batch are entirely online and the exams too. The faculty is well qualified but some online sessions become less interactive, hence boring. The exams are MCQs and can be solved easily by just attending the classes regularly and referring to the ppts later.

I'm interning at Outlook Publications which is Delhi based Media company. It hired 130 interns from Welingkar this year in verticals of our choice( from HR, marketing, finance, and ops). A stipend of 7500-15000 was promised in the JD but in reality, it is a 10% sales commission of the sales made. 5 tasks are given in the entire duration of which one is sales and the other 4 are domain-specific tasks. One can do an internship of his/her own choice without taking it from college management.

The placements in the previous BD batch range b/w the CTC of 6-11 lacs. Approximately 90% of the students get placed. Some left either go for a start-up or getting placements without college's help. This is upto the student. If a company offers you a placement, the student cannot decline the same and opt for another company.

11 lac is broken into 4 installments of an equal amount. There has been no scholarship opportunity to date. After completing one year, I got an Internship in Outlook Publications which is a Media company in the Magazine business. They provide a stipend only on completing Sales Targets.

No campus life in Online mode but e-library which access to a various database like Statista, Sage journals, etc. is provided to study and research on various academic projects. Also, a subscription to Microsoft 365 is provided.

The topic for GD was Pollution in Mumbai. GDPI was a physical process in New Delhi. The GDPI process was a very well-managed process by our seniors and faculty. PI happened on the same day post GD which lasted for 15 mins where there was a general discussion about my areas of interest and why MBA post-B. Tech.
