Remarks
I applied only for ICFAI Business School. I didn't avail any quota for admission. The minimum marks required to get admission is 60% in 10th & 12th and for graduation, the minimum marks required is 50%. The age criteria are not there. The admission process was smooth, IBS firstly, calls you for a GDPI process to their Hyderabad Branch, and then after 15 days, they gave out results. Admission is very easy in IBS as the number of seats is very high and mostly everyone who applied gets admission.
Course Curriculum Overview
Options were very limited and because I was interested in marketing I choose this course. The faculty is kind of mixed. You will find both good and bad faculty. Bad in terms like they only teach you to get marks and not proper practical knowledge. The faculty is very well qualified. But the issue was many of them forced on theoretical knowledge. The college is very disciplined in term examination they use to complete a semester in 4 months and if you study regularly you will easily pass
Internships Opportunities
Roles offered on internship are dependent on your field of work all big companies come to college. The project is to maintain a balckbook which will be evaluated at the end of 90 days internship period. You can do an internship after the 2nd semester and you have to complete it before the start of the 3rd semester.
Placement Experience
During the 3rd semester only students get eligible for placements and companies also gets to start coming to colleges. All Big 4 companies came this time to college. Delloite, PwC, EnY, KPMG, TCS, ICICI, HDFC, IDBI, BLACKROCK, LODHA are some companies to mention
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees are 8 lacs for the full course of 2 years. But due to covid, the classes are being conducted online and to ask full course fees for online classes is a bit not good. You get a scholarship based on your GPA for the first 3 semesters only. It will be ranging between 2000-5000.
Campus Life
KONFLUX - Yes is IBS Mumbai annual fest it is conducted in December or January depending on the resources. The books & journals are always available in the library and you can issue them for a 2 weeks period. Amenities in classrooms are enough to study with proper guidance. Interview Experience
GD topic which I got was why students choose corporate jobs and not business after MBA. Interview Questions asked were: Tell me about yourself; family background; questions based on your graduation; some general questions regard the world, Why do you want to get admission in IBS; Why MBA. The process is really simple you will be called for GD and PI and after clearing that you get admission and the process after that is to give 80000 to lock a seat and the with each semester you have to pay your fees. To prepare for GDPI you can watch some youtube videos or get help from any senior who have any kind of experience of GDPI.
