Remarks
I applied for many with wbjee and jee mains and through jeece . I got into bit with the general rank of 420 in the first counseling itself. At first, i was excited about joining the bit. The admission process was quite smooth. U have to provide all the necessary documents in counseling. Your rank for admission at that time should be 1200 for getting a seat for the general category. Now the admission is through jee mains
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose electronics because I was fascinated by circuits all through my school days. The faculty-student ratio is quite good. The exams are timely and are easy to pass. There are enough faculty for all the subjects.
Internships Opportunities
Tata steel gives paid internships that could be converted into PPO. It gives 15000 as a stipend in the internship period. I don't know about the rest. Some companies do give internships but are very less and could be counted on fingers
Placement Experience
From my knowledge, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th sem. I think many companies visit and 60 percent placement occurs most of the time. The least package is 3 lakh per annum and the highest could be 10 lakh per annum. Mostly it companies visit the campus. For core branches, some good companies do visit and give a good offer
Fees and Financial Aid
The status of campus jobs is average. Mostly it companies visit the campus ie tcs wipro etc. For core branches, some good companies appear for the placements like Vedanta which offers quite a good offer. Some like 8 lakh per annum
Campus Life
There are annual fests and sports. There is a big ground for boys to enjoy sports. There are many technical and cultural fests are through the year. They have dhatvika and many more . Campus life is good. Except for the food in mess, everything is quite enjoyable
