Course Curriculum Overview

The course contains all the relevant subjects which are required in practical aspects like in corporate and business. Nutshell, they will groom you with knowledge of every aspect be it IT, Finance, HR, Marketing etc. And the choice of electives in second year is is quite vast which can help you to choose and study the subject of your choice.

The placement opportunities are really good. Our college being the government college is valued most my the MNC's. Our average package for MBA is 5 lacs. The companies visiting our college are Religare finvest limited , Nokia, Indiamart, Ericcson, WNS, Genpact , Maruti etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our college provides scholarship to Students belonging to EWS economically weaker sections. Student who secure first position in their batch with 11000 INR. They also offer book bank facility to EWS students.

Exam Structure

They do have great examination structure. They have 4 semesters in MBA . Each semester has 2 sessional assessment of 15 marks each. And 1 end semester external examination of 60 marks each. In 1st semester you have 8 subjects. 2nd semester- 8 subjects, 3rd semester- 7 subjects, 4th semester- 6 subjects.

Our college has guest faculties and permanent faculties. The permanent faculties are well versed with the subjects and the core areas of MBA which are required to be covered in depth and they impart epitome of knowledge to the students through various creative methods. Our college has many professors are resident faculty in DU and they come to our colleges for delivering lectures.

The Real Unbiased Truth of JIMS Kalkaji

Placement Experience:

Placements of my college are average when compared with other B-schools of similar level. The companies which have visited so far for internships are mostly start ups like Wealth Blue and Outlook, but some other companies like ITC, Bajaj Capital and Coca Cola moon beverages have also come on campus. The highest stipend promised so far is 15,000 for 3 months or 10,000 per month for 2 months. A lot of students are yet to be placed, both for final and summer placements. My plan is also to get a job post my PGDM.

Compass provide a place the highest package our were born is 20 lakhs per annum from the Fite department and the average placement gets around 8 to 10 laks and the minimal is7-8 lakhs. The placement is good in sales and finance department. Most of the companies comes for sales and Management. You can also offer for the finance.

Good opportunity in JIMS

Placement Experience:

From 4th trimester onwards that if from August onwards after coming back from 3 months summer internships, companies come for placements and students can apply to the companies. The companies that visited campus are DELOITTE, KPMG, ACCENTURE,TCS, RANDSTAD,ICICI,SBI, MOTILAL OSWAL, BAJAJ, ASIAN PAINTS, ADITYA BIRLA, BLACKROCK, GRIDLINES etc. and many more. The highest package of our batch went for 24 lakhs( Oman based company) , average went around- 7-8 lakhs , lowest - 4.5-5 lakhs. Profiles offered- Sales head, operational manager, Deputy branch manager, Junior Analyst, Analyst, HR - talent acquisition team , underwriting team etc. Right now more than 80% of students have gotten placed and rest are in the placement process which will be till April. I have been placed in ICICI LOMBARD for Underwriting and Claims process and will be joining the company soon.

The other government college is better than this. The university is not good at all. There is no future with the degree from this college.The admission process is online.
