I was very happy with the collect. I would definitely recommend my college MCE. There are many memorable events.
Entrance Preview
I took CET, Karnatka and scored around 2000 rank. I opted for this as my cousin already went there and very old college with good history.
Course Curriculum Overview
CS department has very good lectures including phd professors. Our HOD is very helpful and has lot of knowledge. Electives were already get filtered based on lecture availability.
Internships Opportunities
Many companies came and almost 100% got placed for 2007 batch. First to come was TCS which blocked many students and then followed by Infy,Wipro, Cogni, Mindtree and many more. Even Product companies also visited and cherry picked few candidate.
Placement Experience
Very good placement office was there and we got nearly 100% placement. Both service and product companies visited our college and blocked many student at the beginning only. Other department was also had a good placement which was best college had at that time.
College Events
We have college event every year. It usually span from 3 to 5 days. Many guest like Kumble,javagal srinath also part of cultural event. We many event like singing, dancing, skit and so on. Each department used to compete and finally one department will get medal. In 2007, CS department was champion in all events.
Fees and Financial Aid
I do not have much details about the scholarship. But college does gives that for few students. The best student can inter change the branches in 2nd sem
Campus Life
Campus was very good. We have big football ground infront of the college. It has very good grass like a good footbat ground in any stadium. We also have evry good hockey ground. MCE will be champions most time in VTU games.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni network was good. They only used to refer the college and student. Normally all alumni will meet for every 5 year once and some even meet regularly.
Exam Structure
We have internals regularly. Our Exam was also well spaced and got enough time to study. But we normally used to study before exam days like everyone.
