Nirma University is the first University to be established in Gujarat and has been offering quality services since the start this is why I opted for this University. It was 44th in MBA & 151st overall 2020 rankings of NIRF. The university has Grade''A'' NAAC accredition and also has approvals by UGC,AIU & NBA. CAT score, academic Records and PI/GD round performance of the students are the factors on whose basis admissions are done for MBA at Nirma University.
Course Curriculum Overview
The University is among the most trusted Institutions of Gujarat and has been sharing quality educational content among the students. The faculty team of the institute is also of the same kind. The managament department has experts of different managament domains holding vast amount of experience and knowledge to share among their students. The modern technologies used by the faculty are also a great assest for students.
Internships Opportunities
Internships are a great source of industrial exposure but due to some personal reasons I was not able to participate in the internship round. I was not present in internships but my friends never made me feel that I haven't opted for them . They shared their internship experiences with me which helped me in a great manner.
Placement Experience
During the 2020 campus placements our university recorded 95% placements. The most number of offers in IT & marketing made them the top domains of the campus drive.The highest package offered to our 2018-20 MBA batch was INR 16 LPA while the average package stood at INR 8 LPA.Reliance, Infosys and HDFC were the top recruitering companies of the campus placements.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure at Nirma University is quite similar to Jaipuria Institute of Management, Lucknow. The total fee for MBA is INR 10.04 lacs which also has the inclusion of tuition Fee INR 9.52 lacs in it. There was availabilty of both academic performance based aa well as category wise scholarships for the students as per the rules of government.
Campus Life
Campus life is always a major part for any student and the same was the case with me. Being a nature lover the greenery filled environment was a great thing for me. Annual fest, Cultural fest and different sports activities were arranged by the institute throughout the year. The library also has good amount of volumes across different domains. Clubs and committies for both academic and extracurricular activities were also there in the university.
Hostel Facilities
It was a great overall time being a hostlier. The Institute offered both genders separate hostel facilities. There was choice of Both AC and Non-Ac rooms in single or sharing basis. With some additional charges laundry services can also be availed by students. The quality of mess food was good and the food served was also great in taste.
Admission
The university has the same admission procedure for MBA programs as in other institutes foe management programs . The past academic records and CAT exam score of the candidates are checked for shortlisting of students. It was then followed by the Interview Round through which the panel examined the candidate. The performance in all these rounds finalised the selection of students
