Nirma University is the most trusted university of Gujarat because of being the first ever University to be established in the state and that's why I chose this particular institution. The university was ranked 44th by NIRF in its 2020 MBA rankings and has approvals from both UGC and NBA. The university also has Grade''A'' accreditation by NAAC. For admissions to the MBA program the university check the past academic records,CAT score along with the interview performance .
Course Curriculum Overview
The faculty team of the institute is also of the same kind. The management department has experts of different management domains holding vast amounts of experience and knowledge to share among their students. The modern technologies used by the faculty are also a great asset for students.
Internships Opportunities
Internships are the best way to get Experience and knowledge about the actual working experience and I wanted to have the same. I was able to get a 6 week internship by Jio along with a stipend of INR 22000. It was the best thing that could have happened to me and am very grateful for it
Placement Experience
Our 2018-20 batch of MBA recorded around 95% placements during the campus drive. The highest placements offers were made under marketing and IT which made them the top domains of MBA The highest package offered to our program was INR 16 LPA with the average package being at INR 8 LPA. Infosys and Reliance are the top recruting companies of the 2020 campus placements.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Nirma University has a fee structure which can be compared to the fee structure of JIM,Lucknow. The total MBA program fee here is INR 10.04 lacs in which INR 9.52 lacs the tuition fee is also included . Good number of merit based scholarships along with some category based concessions were available at Nirma for reduction of financial pressure from the students.
Campus Life
Our college campus is surrounded by a green environment which I really liked. The Annual fest, Cultural fest , sports fest and debate competitions are the major events of the University. Our college library has over 30,000+ books ,610+ e-books and 10,960+ journals. The Debate Club- Vichardhara, Karwaan, The Social Club- Saral, Expressions Club and Marketing Club- Niche are the famous clubs at Nirma while Student's welfare committee, Mess committee, Cultural committee and The Placement committee are also there.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel life facilities offered by the university were far better than what I had accepted. The facilities were separate for both genders with the allocation of rooms in single as well as double sharing rooms along with AC or without Ac facility. Good sports facilities were also there for the students. The mess food is usually a thing to concern about because of the myth that the preparation is not done in clean conditions but the food quality and taste both were the Best.
Admission
Nirma University has the same type of admission procedure for MBA as other similar kind of management field institutes The academic records and CAT score of the candidates are examined to shortlist the applied candidates. These students then have to appear for Interview Round and their performance in all different rounds finalised the admissions.
