Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum, more or less is what university decides. University ( AKTU, previously known as UPTU) has their own course structure and each institute/ College which is affiliated to the university has to follow the norms. Although they have many internal initiatives to help and support talented students.
Internships Opportunities
No they don't provide professional internship. They do provide coaching/ training for professional courses for a duration of time and there is no stipend given to the students. They get certified teachers related to the subject and thrive each student to attend those classes without a miss.
Placement Experience
Placements for IT/CS is awesome I would say. They bring lots and lots of companies and in campus placements get very high sometimes. Can't say the same for other branches. Last year they had 200+ placements only for one company for branches IT/ CS but in mechanical or civil engineering, it was not so same.
Fees and Financial Aid
None that I know of Student used to avail loans from the college provided by the university but that is out of scope of my knowledge.
Exam Structure
Exam structure is again same as that of university norms. they have 3 internal exams out of which 2 are the same structure as UPTU. Awarded marks depends on the policy of university. 40% internal marks and 60% external marks. They also give very high preference to the practical exams.
Faculty
I don't know about the other departments, but my department had pretty cool faculty. Many of them wrote research papers and are offered jobs in USA and other education oriented countries. They were great mentors and helped us write research papers on our own.
