Remarks

IIT Kanpur is one of the best institutes in India which is known for its best Academics curriculum. I had known about this College from the Internet and all of my friends. The admission process was online and you must have to clear JEE advanced exam. The admission was based on the merit list by counseling. This is the very reputed and best college for BTech.

The curriculum provides the utmost knowledge to the students in Computer science. The faculty teach and guide us in various programming languages. The course has 8 semesters I.e 2 semesters per year. The student-to-faculty ratio is 1:60 This Institute has a great faculty team to guide the students.

Placement Experience

The placement provided by this college is one of the best in the country. Many big companies of the world take part in this event to give placement to the students. From my class, almost 90% of students got placed with an average package of 25 lac Rs.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees of this Institute is around 210000 Rs including all other charges excluding hostel. As I am a general category student I wasn't eligible for scholarships. This Institute also provides government-supported scholarships to financially unstable students.

Campus Life

The campus life is fabulous and the infrastructure is amazing. There are many fests celebrated in our institution like Techkriti which is one of the biggest Tech fest in India and Antaragini which is a cultural event. The library of the college is huge and has many books related to all the engineering students.

The RGIPT Curriculum follows the syllabus and system of IIT Kanpur, so no need to further explain. But the implementation is not up to mark as it should be. Exams are as Mid Sem and End Sem, including two quizzes per semester.

My Biggest reason to choose this subject to I like art related work,so I choose this subject. One advantage of doing this subject is that along with art,you can learn a lot from other social and cultural aspect as well. There is a need to make some improvements in this subject such a a course should be of shorter duration and the syllabus should be made a little shorter. Whatever the exam,the subject should be made a short subject with less duration and should not be of long duration.

Comapny will visit in campus after September. And here alomst 80 to 85 company visit in this college. Likes hdfc, Dabur, icici, mother dairy, wipro, Infosys and many startup companies. And almost all student got job in campus. Last year highest package is 8.5 lacs and average package is 3.5 to 4 lacs. Here almost 90-95% student placed. In starting 5-8 years I make me financially strong and learn about market and condition. After I looking for a startup.

I choose this college becouse of its flexible acdemic structure and its great Alum connections. Also this is the best college i am getting according to my rank and my interest in mathematics. I have Applied for IIT delhi in electronics. IIT Delhi is also a great college but when it comes to academic focus IIT delhi lacks there. Also there faculty administratation is so strict. if a student wants to start something or he/she has a new iniative for the college , he/she will face hard time. So I couldn't make it to IIT Roper CSE branch because my jee adance rank is not that great for the Roper' Computer science. So the Admission process here at IITK is not difficult. You just the originaly document which you have submitted in your josa counselling portal and you need to verify it once here usually a couple opf hours work. I chose IIT Kanpur over othe rcooleges because of its academic reputation, research opportunities and strong alumini network. I was also able to get seats in other IITs but I preferred IIT Kanpur due to its legacy . I didn't face rejections, but did not opt for some colleges even after qualifying due to lower research output, weaker placement stats.
