My Life at BMSCE, Karnataka

First off, my college BMSCE is accredited by NAAC with 'A' Grade, approved by AICTE and affiliated with VTU. Secondly, the placement rate is 100% with highest package of 12 LPA and most importantly, the overall fee is 1.08 lakh for MBA program. Furthermore, the course curriculum, faculty members, feedbacks everything about this college was good when I checked the official website and heard from others. And then I decided to take admission here. For admission, I applied by filling the application form. Earlier I had appeared in KMAT examination, so I provided the marks scored in that exam while filling the application form. On the basis of my score, I got selected for admission and finally I am here pursuing MBA in marketing.

My college follows semester system and so we have total of 4 semesters in MBA program. The course curriculum comprises of numerous subjects and some of them are business analytics, managerial economics, organizational behaviour, operation research, and many others. Besides, the faculty members of our department have acquired PhD degree and hold experience of more than 10-12 years. They focus on imparting value based leadership quality, ability to develop entrepreneurial thinking, critical and analytical thinking capacity, to understand legal and ethical aspects of business. Also, we go to industrial visit as it is the important part of course curriculum. Lastly, we are also provided summer internship opportunity.

The placement cell of our college plays a vita role in building relation with potential recruiters. They fix dates after communicating with recruiters and considering the job profiles, student preference and other factors. The top recruiting companies that pay their visit to offer jobs are Accenture, Paytm, Amazon, IBM, Intel, Capgemini, Titan, Deloitte, and 200 plus others. However, the average salary was above 5 lakhs and the highest package offered was 12 LPA. Moreover, post completion of the MBA program, I have decided to sit in he placement session, get a job with handsome package and gain experience first. Now, before the placement session, a pre-placement training of 40 hours (5 days) is organized in which we are taught to pass the aptitude test, group discussion round, PI round, resume building.

The fee structure for MBA program at BMSCE is 1 lakh and 8 thousands for both the years. In this amount, only the tuition fee, security fee, admission fee are included and not hostel or the expenses of food.Despite such an affordable fee structure, our college provide scholarship opportunity to the minorities of Karnataka, defense ward, Muslim girls of Karnataka, disabled students by Govt. Of India, merit based scholarship and on other criteria as well. Moreover, our college provide the option to take educational loan from banks or financier such as Axis Bank, Advanse, Auxilo, credila and other.

Every year our college conducts 'kreedotsav' which is intra collegiate tournament and also sports tournaments of various sports that include kho-kho, malakkham, swimming, football, hockey, badminton. Apart from that, several other events like celebration of festivals, international yoga day, farewell party, convocation day and other such activities are conducted. Moreover, we are provided with so many campus facilities like counselling center, library, cafeteria, data center, hostel and most importantly the hostel facility. Above all, my colleagues are too good by nature and co-operative at the same time. We enjoy here a lot and have created to many memories till now. So altogether I would say that my campus life is fantastic.
