I had a personal interview before admission. PSIT has a very easy recruitment process. 60% or above in 10th, 12th and graduation, With Mathematics at 10+2 level or graduation level and there, will be a Personal Interview also.

In today's world, a bachelor degree is not good enough to grab a job in top leading IT companies. The corporate world seeks trained professionals with good skills and a better and advanced approach to any problem. That's the reason I have chosen this course. There are many faculty members for a single subject. The faculties are highly educated and most of the professors have PHDs in their respective fields. They are very friendly in nature, they will always motivate you to give your best. The faculty uses a practical approach to teach the students they also use PPT. There are many assignments and class test are scheduled for students to enhance their performance.

As I am in my first year so I have not done any internship yet. There are many intership opportunities that college provide you. I have not worked on any projects yet but I am going to work on a project very soon.

The placement of PSIT is very good. Every year upto 92% of student get placed in companies. Every year companies like INFOSYS, TCS, WIPRO, Tech Mahindra, Cognizant, Capgemini etc visit the campus for the selection of students. The placement cell of PSIT will help you to get placed in companies. The average package offered is between 3-8 LPA and 8-12 LPA. Many students have also secured the package worth 18 to 26 LPA.

The fee for the MCA course is 1.25 Lacs per annum. College provides scholarship scheme such as UP Scholarship. The scholarship awarded upto final years for all courses. The loan process is easy for students here.

It has great infrastructure. The college has a medical and ambulance facility on campus. It has centralised AC and centralised RO water system. Every classroom has projectors for teaching. The rules are very strict here. There are multiple labs for every subject. There are basketball courts, volleyball and football grounds for the student. The library of PSIT has various type of books available for the student.

The hostel rooms have one bed, one Almira, one study table and a chair for each student. There are two types of rooms available with AC and without AC. Every room has an ethernet port to access the free internet. The rules and regulation are strict for hostlers. The quality of the meal is good in the mess. The food here is hygenic. The process of registration for a hostel is easy you have to deposit some initial amount to book your room.

You have to give a test or interview or both in order to get admission here. Based on your performance in the test you will be selected. The questions that are asked in test or interview are basically conceptual and are related to the course you are going to take admission for example if you want to take admission in MCA you will be asked about fundamentals of computer and programming language-related questions.
