Entrance Preview

SBSAT, Its entrance examinations particularly for sathyabhama university.I scored 45 out of 120.I chose this college because of discipline.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course i chose is B.E computer science and engineering. As far as i know the curriculum is good. In first year all the subject for all the courses were similar. We had mathematics for all the five semesters. And one electronics subject in each semester till 3rd year. In fourth year we had all the subjects relayed to computer science.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, they provide internships for the students who are interested in doing. So companies are tied up with the university who provide internships. The stipend is not that good but the knowledge we gain in the internships are high.

Placement Experience

The placements in sathyabama university are exemplary. We had 95% placements last year. The companies who come for sathyabama university offer minimum 2.5 l PA package to 6.5L PA package. In the beginning of the placements companies like cognizant, infosys, wipro, capgemini, tech mahindra comes and gives offers to bulk number of students.

Fees and Financial Aid

Students who get the top rank in each semester exam gets the 30% fee reduction under scholar ship scheme. Students who get top 10 rank in the entrance examination get 100% scholarship. There are banks in our college which offer loan for us.

Exam Structure

We have 8 semesters for four years. In each semester we have two internal exams which is for 50 marks and is counted to 20 marks which is added to main semester marks. Semester exam is of 80 marks. ab exam is for 100 marks. In lab examination 80 marks is for clearing the experiments and 20 marks is for viva which is conducted by highly qualified professors.

The faculty in sathyabama university are professionals. We had all experienced professors who used to help us for preparing for examinations. There used to be head of the department for each department and counsellors under them and coordinators who are all well qualified .We used to have lab technicians who help us in clearing lab experiments and solve technical issues regarding servers.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

Placement Experience:

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

Life in Sathyabama

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

How is life at Sathyabama?

I applied VIT , st Joseph's College, then anand institute of technology...i chose this because of campus and the students I talked to them ,they said it is too good andthe placements were also good too .only thing you need to study from the first...and then this college fees is good compared to other colleges as Sathyabama offer food and bus withing 1.5lakhs ..but others fees itself one lakhs and above...Read More
