Remarks

I applied for KIPM for B.pharm KIPM is the best college in our purvanchal that why I don't apply to any other college. I dont have any quota I was admitted to this college in the general category. I qualify for the UPSEE exam my general ranking is 10000 I choose KIPM during counseling. The requirement of the programme includes 10+2 from any recognized board with a combination of PCB or PCM with 55% of marks. admission will be granted based on the ranking of the UPSEE exam or direct admission.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose the pharmacy course because I am interested to know deeply about medicine. Pharmacy is a novel profession and it made incredible thinking about medicine, research, and development sector. now a day pharmacy plays an important role in the health sector and this course has a lot of carrier options. The faculty and student ratio is 1:15. we have a highly skilled faculty including Ph.D. holders and gold medalists. The professor gives in-depth knowledge and teaches us in an easy way .they use the whiteboard and PPT for teaching us >The term /sessional exam happens around every 1.5 months. If you follow faculty instruction it is not too tough.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 74200 per year

Placement Experience

Campus placement is provided. Lots of students placed at pharma companies such as sun pharma, zydus, lupin, and Master degree holders students placed in the Institute for teaching. About 85% of students placed every year

Fees and Financial Aid

now a day fee is 80131 as per norm. The fee is fixed by the fee fixation committee of UP Govt. The scholarship is given by UP Samaj Kalyan and the institute will give scholarships according to merit. the institute also provides an education loan facility. and institute arranges campus placement.

Campus Life

Institute arranges fresher parties, farewell party and AKTU fest at the state level. we celebrate pharmacist day at a huge level. About 12386 books and 50 national and international journals are available in our college. Our college has a calipharmity club and this club do social work, aware people for their healthy lifestyle, arrange the camp for blood donation, B.P, and sugar level check-up.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In current scenarios b pharma is one of the best option to pursue carrier for becoming drug inspector or pharmacist. The frequency of exam is after every 3 months we have to give sessional exams followed by annual exams ( theory + practicals).

Decent College with Average Facilities and Opportunities

Placement Experience:

Placements in my college are average, not very high but some companies do visit every year. Students become eligible for placements from final year, mostly from 7th or 8th semester. Companies are not very big mostly local or mid level pharma companies come. Some roles offered are like production, quality control and marketing. Highest package is not very high, around 3-4 LPA and average package is around 2-2.5 LPA. Percentage of students getting placement is not very high, maybe around 40-50% approx. Many students prefer to go for higher studies or try off campus jobs. My plan after completing degree is to look for job in pharma field or maybe go for higher studies depending on opportunity. Overall placement is okay but needs improvement.

Simple College with Average Opportunities

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college is average, not very high but also not too bad. Students become eligible for campus placement from 7th semester. Some companies visit the college but not many big companies comes regularly. Companies like small pharma companies and local companies visit and offer roles like production, quality control and sales. The highest package is around 3–4 LPA and average package is about 2–2.5 LPA. Number of offers is also limited and not all students get placed. Around 30-40% students get placement from campus, rest students have to search job on their own or go for higher studies. College gives some support but not very strong placement help. Because of this, many students including me are planning for higher studies or preparing for competitive exams to get better opportunities. Overall placement is okay but need improvement.

I had not opted for any other college and opted for Kailash institute of pharmacy and management.
