I took AIEEE and got a rank of around 20,000. Took this college because it was the best available at that rank and I knew some students of this college who told me how good this college is.

Full B.Tech. course was divided in 4 years semesters each year thus total of 8 semesters in 4 years. Curriculum was well structured with basics of engineering in first year to specialization in your branch till last year. Curriculum of First year was common for all students irrespective of branch. It was for making students to know basics of engineering. Second year onward, subjects related to respective branch were taught. It was a good mix of theory and practicals.

Yes, College provides internship to third year students but it doesn't provide internship to all students. Some companies which come for placements also take students for internships. Companies like L&T, Microsoft etc. take some students for internship.

Placements and job opportunities are very good in college. A lot of companies visit campus throughout the year and recruit many students as per their requirement and procedure. Placements starts from July in 7th semester and continues till june(8th semester). Big companies like Microsoft, Amazon, facebook, google, Adobe,Samsung, L&T, ABB, Verizon etc. visit campus and offere packages upto 1 crore. Mostly it is between 8 lakhs pa to 20 lakhs pa. PSUs like BPCL, HPCL,IOCL, HSCC etc also visit campus and offer above 10 lakhs pa. Mass recruiters also comes to college for placement.

MANIT Bhopal is a hub of extra curricular activities, that keeps students entertained and equipped during whole semester or year. There many societies in college in different fields. You will find place for everything in college, be it sports, music, dance, quizzes, debates,technical, dramas and list goes on. College's main technical fest in TECHNOSEARCH and main cultural fest is MAFFICK. Both fests are largest of central India.

At our time fee structure was feasible. It was around Rs. 40,000 per year which was quite low. Rs. 4000 approx was hostel fees for a year excluding mess fee. For mess fee, we have to pay nearly Rs. 20,000 extra. So, overall it was not expensive and you could easily get a loan for fees if you want. Being a government college taking loan was not so difficult here i heard fees increased after we left the college.

Scholarships were offered by college for underprivileged students. Also scholarship by many other agencies like CBSE, state government were available for college. Loan facility was available and getting a loan was easy considering it is one of the best college on India.

Gender ratio was on lower side, but it was unavoidable as the college was allotted to students on merit and counselling basis. It also depend on branch to branch. Core branches had very less sex ratio and other branches had decent gender ratio. Students from across India were studying in MANIT Bhopal. Facilities for sports were great, and there were teams for many sports which used to participate in many inter college tournaments and sports meets. Extra curricular activities were also in heart of MANIT as there were many events organised throughout the year to take care of talent and creativity of students. And many of these events were of national level.

Hostel facilities were not excellent but were good. During our time there were 6 hostels for boys and 1 hostel for girls. There was shortage of rooms at that time and hostel room was allotted on merit basis. But before we left 1 big hostel was constructed and 2 others were under construction. So, the problem of shortage of rooms was resolved as far as mess facility was concerned, it was available in every hostel. Food was not so good and it varied from hostel to hostel. It was like mess food anywhere else. After all. mess food id mess food.

Alumni network of college is very strong and Alumnis helps in the betterment of college in every way possible. Many alumni meets are organised throughout the year around the whole world. Many Alumni of college are in top management posts of various companies.

In starting when we entered college, there used to be 2 minor exams and one major exam were scheduled per semester apart from surprise tests and quizzes organised by teachers. But after 2nd year 2 minors were clubbed and only 1 mid-term exam was conducted, so making it 1 midterm exam and 1 major exam labs were frequent according to subject and requirement.

I got college through counselling conducted after AIEEE(All India Engineering Entrance Exam) exam.Notification for counselling was released after the result got declared of AIEEE(All India Engineering Entrance Exam) I got this college in fourth round. After i got this college, we had to submit counselling fee and then came to college for admission procedure. Branch was itself alloted during counselling. In college first a small medical was done and then normal admission procedure was followed.

Faculty of college was well qualified and highly respected. For the students of first year, there were some contract faculty in which some teachers were not upto the mark, but others were very good. Second year onward, faculty were well versed in their subjects and were highly qualified. Most of them have published various papers and researches at national and international levels. These teachers were also referred by many government and private bodies for consultancy such was their rapport.
