Remarks
I applied to many colleges like loyola chennai , narsee monjee mumbai , st.xaviers kolkata but wasn't got selected in anyone of them but on the other hand i also applied to chandigarh university , LPU university and amity university . And when i got selected in all , so i choosed amity because of its fee , it was low as per compared to other private colleges and also the placement rates were good . There were minimum age criteria for admission but students was expected to get average marks in boards result . Even there were some percent discounts to students who got more than 75% in their 12th boards . After my application got selected , there was a short interview process at the university which was not frightening but very calm and then finally the after the submission of documents , there was admission.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course because i was a commerce students in class 12 and was not at all interested in b.com . I wanted to go forward in management so i chose this course. There was average number of students in the class upto 40-45 under each faculty. The faculties were very proefficient and subject matter experts . They were helpful and friendly too. Exams happened within every three months as midterm and there were 2 semester exams in each year. And they were easy for any one to pass who studies and listens to all what the faculty teaches in the class.
Internships Opportunities
Internship oppurtunities were mainly provided by reliance retail otherwise internships were totally dependent on us to figure out . The stipend wss around 10000-15000 for 5-6 hrs every 5 days in a week .
Placement Experience
Campus placements were given in the last year and companies were byju, jaro , idfc bank, reliance retail , vedantu etc . The highest package was between 6-7 lakhs and the profiles were mainly business development , telesales , operation executive , relationship manager etc . Upto 70% of students were usually placed . I am still planning to study further .
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees were raised by 5% every semester . And it started with the 1st semester of rs.33000 . There were no jobs in the campus and no financial assistance for me because of low marks i scored in 12th boards . The overall cost of study was expensive due to campus fees , hostel fee and mess charges.
Campus Life
Ami spark was the annual fest organized on the campus every year in March - April. There were lots of opportunities in that to gain extracurricular experiences. The library was well infrastructured with a variety of books. All of the rooms on the campus were equipped with ac and fans and proper lighting. Different types of games and sports opportunities arose in times of sports festival and also all the facilities related to sports were present throughout the year. There were lots of social clubs like literature club, music club, art clubs, etc in the college.
Hostel Facilities
A single bed with one almirah, one table, and the chair was provided to every single hosteller and for every 6 students, there was one washroom and one bathroom to use which were totally hygienic and clean. The mess foods were definitely tasty and less oily and also varied every day. Their quality was good for anyone living in a hostel. Hostel fees and mess charges are a little bit expensive and the registration process was small and simple and not hectic. Finally, after 1st year, I lived in a PG in mowa, Raipur.
