Remarks

I applied for B.sc Economic in Raj college and did get admission but left to pursue B.Tech. I didn't avail any quota. The minimum marks for admission in BTech is above 60% for Science students in 12th. There wasn't any counseling day, we went to the office to have admission.

Course Curriculum Overview

I pursued this course to have a career with a computer science and engineering degree. The faculty: student ratio is 1:15. The faculties of our college are very qualified most of them have masters and many are pursuing Ph.D. in their respective fields. We have 2 midterms and a then the semester, and occasionally teacher takes the class test. And after every class, we have a short test based on what we learner that day.

Class Size: 170Course Fees: INR 150000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Our college provides scholarship and financial assistance to students who opt out and need them. Our college offers many internships from many companies which one can opt-out with a monthly stipend which helps financially challenged students with their difficulty.

Placement Experience

The pass-out batch of 2021 has a placement percentage of 122, an average package of 3~5 lakhs. The highest package was received of 72lakhs. The top recruiters are Capgemeni, TCS, Infosys, Wipro etc. The internship offers from Capital Box, Genpact, Krypton, Lancers Counsel, etc as Work From Home.

Fees and Financial Aid

The academic fee is 40000 and hostel fees of 35000. During covid whoever lost their earning member or lost their job, our college offers financial help to them, be it students or alumni.

Campus Life

Annual fest, tech fest, and cultural fest occur during September - October. There are many books available in our college with a 1:1 ratio for each subject and online libraries such as IEEE can be accessed and many others. There is a sports fest to compete for competitiveness. Also a gym and a playground available.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facility is nice, there are 3 beds in each room. A desk and a chair for studying and a cupboard. The quality of the meal is satisfying. The menu is healthy. There are also options for veg and nonveg separately. Hostel allocation occurs during admission only on the campus. We get to choose our rooms.

Placement Experience:

Placement are decent in my point of view as college manage to provide campus placement to every eligible students as company ask for your Overrall grade point of the student and apply their standard as 6.5 ogpa or without any backlog and take exam of aptitude and it is based on company policy they take group discussion and then personal interview and if it is software company then coding rounds also. Students in7th semester are ready for placement. In current scenario 6 companies have visited the campus and around 40-45 offers has been given to students. Here each company come with only one package and different job roles some company came with 5.5 lpa and some with 5 lpa and some with 7 lpa so maximum till now from college is 7 lpa and average till now of placed students is 5.5 lpa. 60 percent of students get placed in past years stastics. My plan is to go for higher education ie mtech from good institution.

Each year in seventh semester placement companies visit college for taking students. In mechanical engineering Vedanta and Secure meter come for taking students. The average placement of this college is seven to eight lakhs and highest placement is twenty two lakhs. The best part is the placement in core companies. The average placement CGPA REQUIRED FOR PLACEMENT IS SEVEN CGPA.

I have not applied to any other colleges. UEM is the first college where i had applied for the first and last time. I chose this college as it is the closest from my home where i did not have to live in hostel. Secondly it has decent placements.
