I got in into this college through comedk as I always wanted to study in Bangalore. There is no such quota for non-Karnataka students, everything depends on your rank in comedk. They might choose students with better ranks in the first counseling for CSE/ISE but by second or third counseling if you decent rank you will get a seat in CSE/ISE/ECE. The procedure is very simple not so complicated after writing the entrance test and after the results, they tell you the dates and the venue for counseling you have to be there that's all. You can also give your preference of the college while filling the form.

I am in the electronics and communication engineering branch with the intent of having an interest in software as well as hardware. Under ECE we have 3 sections with a capacity of a max of 60 students each. All the faculties that taught me every semester were really nice and had good knowledge, having said that you might not always go along with every faculty you come across but that's how college life is right? Our college is very particular about the exams, practicals, assessment and everything. I won't say it's difficult to pass but definitely difficult to score. Each semester has a mass back paper so put a little effort in that subject from the starting and not leave it for the end because then it won't be so easy to pass studying one night before.

Companies do give internship offers with a stipend from 10000-30000. Always do a good project in semesters so that you can add that to your resume. Good projects are also encouraged and appreciated by everyone.

College placements are really good. Just prepare well you can surely get a good package for sure. Many companies visit our campus so prepare well before. There are offers from countries like Japan also. Most of the students are placed who look for placement. The highest package can go up to 18 lakhs with avg 3-4.

If you are from Karnataka and have some quota you definitely have chances to get scholarships if you perform well in academics. The fee structure for students from comedk is a huge amount so please do check that out before applying for me it was 2 lakh excluding hostel charges but you have a good rank in comedk there is a chance to get a scholarship, but college makes sure every student interested in placement gets a job. There are so many companies coming during campus placement giving average to good package it's all up to you to prepare that way. Also, there are companies where you can do an internship even before joining and also gives a stipend.

Don't expect too much from the college in this case. They do organize the fest and many cultural, social events but not many still decent enough to enjoy with your friends. Also, each department has its own club and there are others also where anybody regardless of the branch can join. We have a dance club, music club, tech club, theatre, Rotaract and so many more. You can always do your thing and share your knowledge of achievements with college they encourage that a lot here.

So the hostel's room is quite spacious and well ventilated. You can apply for a college hostel while you pay your fees at college and book a room for yourself. It's under the college campus. The food provided isn't the best but it's ok to survive. You can also find many PGs outside but the food over there is not great either so if freedom is not what you are looking for definitely you can opt for a college hostel for its safety that's always there. The location of the college is really good it's not in the outskirts you have a bus stand right in front of the main gate and it's a good place.
