Remarks
The admission process was a bit complicated, we were called for counselling in the venue. Over there we were called one by one according to rank for counselling, then a Xerox copy of the document was checked after that we had to present the original copy in the next phase. If all the documents were correct we were called for the branch selection process and to fix our seat in the college an advance of 1000 rupees online receipt for made in our name.
Course Curriculum Overview
I have ECE and the subjects are very interesting, but if you don't study well in advance then it is difficult to pass the exam. We do have lecture classes but self-study is preferred. Most of the faculty members are highly qualified and very experienced. In our class, the girls to boys ratio are 2:3. We have two exams each semester, one is internal and the other is external. Internal exams are held twice and the best of the two is selected out of the two.
Placement Experience
After getting the degree I am planning to do an MBA. And talking about the placement that the college offers is not so high but the average package is 4-5 lakhs. Only a few students are able to get a 10 lakh package. If you will sit for campus placements with proper preparation, definitely you will get placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
The course fee of 4 years is very much affordable. And for girls, the tution fees are also less as compared to boys. Even the students from poor families and reserved category are offered a scholarship from the E-Kalyan scholarship scheme run under the govt. of Jharkhand.
Campus Life
Like any other college, we also have clubs and social groups in our college which conduct various fun activities, college festivals, placement preparation, events etc. All the clubs are active and you can choose from a wide variety of options like Arts club for drama, music, dance, Painting wing for artists, sports club, coding clubs, social clubs, Prayaas India, Rotaract club, SAE, GRS, Eco club etc.
Hostel Facilities
We have a separate hostel for all the years and the room size and number of roommates vary year wise. In 3rd year we have 4 people in a single room with a separate bed, table, chair but the toilets and bathroom are combined for each floor. The quality of food we are getting is not so good but there is no other option. To get the hostel you need to inform during the admission only and the monthly mess fees is 3000/-.
