Excellent college with lots of opportunities if you have the guts to catch them never hesitate here. Hostels are too good. Do apply them for them on the first day itself explore the campus as much as you can you will always find something new happening in sometime, somewhere welcome to USICT.

I took almost all competetive examinations i.e IITJEE( Advanced & Mains) , Bitsat , SRMjee, Viteee and IPU (CET). I scored averge marks in mains and a rank of 9k in Advanced. 2456 in SRMJEE and 12k in VITEEE. My best performance was in IPUCET where i got a rank of 865. I always wanted to take up Electronics and Communications as my core subject in engineering as it opens us to an array of opportunities . An E&C engineer can take up in any field be it Communication , IT, Robotics or Compuer Science. USICT is primarily dedicated to information and communication technology and hence i took it up. It is a dedicated insitute , has less number of students , dedicated faculty and excellent infrastructure.Hence it was a good decision taken by.

The course curriculum is specially designed in accordance to the demands of ICT industry . Obsolete subjects have been replaced by new and industry oriented subjects. The teacher take appropriate use of new methods to inculcate the subject well into a student's brain . Projectors , Tutorials and Assignments make up the most part of a semester of ours. Labs are well synced with the theory subjects . Technicians and helpers take care that a student doesn't face any problems in the conduction of any practical.

Yes the college provides an access to a plethora of companies. The training and Placement Cell takes care of informing all students of all opportunities available to us. There is an E-Cell which consists of all startups by our college alumni and seniors. It is easy to get inernship in those- Xampaperz, Junksquare , BucksnBunks, Nepzy etc. Internships amy or may not be with stipend but experience gained is worth it

Good placement track record including dream companies like FLIPKART, snapdeal, adobe good placement track dream companies visiting the campus, FLIPKART, snapdeal, adobe, makemytrip, paytmabout 90% were place dhighest package offered - 15.25 lacs may alumni open startups or prepare for GATE , Civils or IES. Many are successful.

The fee int total is INR 53,000 which is very cheap in comparison to the opportunities offered at the college the facilities we avail are very costly and high end that in comparison the fee may seem too meager. The fees has to be paid in the starting of every semester in lum sum amount.

The Indian Bank which has it's branch in the campus offers student loans to students at the time of admissions the documentation and formality procedure is simple and fast the delhi government also gives subsidized loan to students also as the institution is directly controlled by delhi govt. the procedure is easy and fast.

Hostels are the best to be talk about here single room accommodation to each student having about 400 boys and 400 girls rooms .mess food is also okey u compare with other universities. fees- about 50k for a year in case u didn't get hostel here, pg can be taken at a nearly cost of 10-12k which could be shared by 3-4 students. The College canteen is awesome with hygienic and nutritious food at affordable rate.

The alumni network is not that strong but some alumni's and specially those who are in startup industry maintain a strong contact with the alma mater the seniors are very helpful . may seem intimidating in the first few weeks but will later be good of friends and offer genuine and wise advises to you . try to reach out all second and third year students and don' t hesitate in asking anything. Start a conversation by addressing sir/mam if they are comfortable with you they'll automatically ask you to switch to bro and sis don't be too casual with them is only advise. they will absorb you when time is right don't check their patience.

All is done in a relaxed and stretched manner one minor is taken in mid of the semester and the final semester ends in the end labs examination are taken before the sem ends. the assignments account a lot of internal marks and should be dealt well with.

I got a rank of 865 in IPUCET . The examination is designed parallel to JEE Mains . The syllabus is also CBSE based. After the results are declared are 5 phases of online counselling which are based on the preferences filled by us. There is an additional round of offline spot counselling.
