My College SCS PURI

I had applied through the Odisha government website SAMS for this college in my second choice. I had a seat in the first selection. My first choice was Baxi Bangabandhu autonomous college, Bhubaneswar. But unfortunately, I didn't get a seat due lack of percentage. The cutoff mark for BSc Physics Hons was 83.5% of my college in 2018. Then a take printout of Intimation later and reached college with Nessesary documents mentioned on the latter. Then clear the all necessary process and got admitted. My senior help me in the admission process. So I feel comfortable on the first visit to my college.

I had chosen Physics because I am very good at Math and Physics in my12th class. In my college, there are 5 faculty members available. And other 3lab assistance. In my class, the maximum number of seat is 40. And in my batch, the seats are fully filled. All the faculty got a doctorate in physics and one of the faculty is a gold medalist from MIT. All faculty teaches us in a well and understanding manner so that everyone can understand. In a year, 2 semestar and 2mid semester occur. The level of question is high to moderate. But approximately every student clear the exam.

As the college is a government Institute so fees are very low. The charge 1400 per year in my honours. Change subject to subject and also charge 1200+100*no of practical as examination charges. My college doesn't offer any scholarship but you can apply to government and private scholarship like e medhabruti, inspire, national scholarship, hdfc scholarship etc. I got an e medhabruti scholarship of about 3000per year as financial assistance.

A college annual festival organizes in each year. And there is safest named glory fest is took place every year. We have a library and we got every book we need. All sports available in my college any students can participate. Also NCC, NSS, Red Cross etc also present.

You have applied for a hostel both online and offline. The selection took place in mark and distance of home. Then the selected list out within 15 days of the last date of application. Also near college so many private hostels, rent house and PV are available. Basically much more students depend on the hostel.
