Age criteria are same as other nit and admission process is light you just have to secure good mark in jee . after that you can apply threw jossa and you get admission easily.svnit facility is good and the atmosphere is also very nice
Course Curriculum Overview
In one semester 2 exam's are there first is mid sem of 30 marks and the second is end sem which contains 50 marks and 20 Mark's for internal.midsem is conducted after 1.5 months and the same for end sem. if you are in odd sem mid sem in September mid and end sem in December starting and if you are in even semester mid sem in March starting and end sem in may starting..There are 2 vacations first is December second week to January first week and second is may mid to July end. exams are easy to clear and many chances for backlog exams and supplementary also make-up exams are there.
Placement Experience
The placements are good. In 7th semester placement starts in my college and you have to secure 7+ cgpa for good company and placement. There are many companies you can check pdf at official website of svnit and many jobs are offered.. The highest package is 40 lakhs last year and the average for the computer branch around 10-13 lakh for overall average package might be 6-8 lakh. In computer branch 100% placement are there otherwise 70% placements are there. I want to become a teacher after degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
We know that svnit is nit so there is no such kind of fee issue. if your income is less than 1 lakh then you don't have to pay anything you got 100% fee remission. If your income is between 1 to 5 lakh you got 2/3 part fee remission and just have to pay 1/3 part of fees and loan options also there and scholarship is also available I don't remember the particular name of scholarship.
Campus Life
We have a very good fest in college we celebrate mindbending as a tech fest and kashish as an annual fest in February. our Library is too good central library is there with many books and a good atmosphere. In the sports section, we have many opportunities in every sport with internet competition. And maybe 20-30 clubs are there like Malang card Raag ACM Drishti and much more...
Hostel Facilities
Room facilities are average and meal quality is average for boys and for girls it's too good. No such kind of registration process you just have to mention you need a hostel or not. In food, you have many options and main things Zomato and swigy Domino's are there for us.
