Good experience.

The placements were not done during my time, the internal assessments were too hard compare to other colleges.

I took IP entrance examination and got a rank of 2676 in 2009, the colleges available with this rank were 3 and I choose CPJ because its was a preferable location from my place.

Course has been well defined by university and covers all aspects to become bachelor in computer applications. The course also involves some practical exposure which provides students exposure to the subjects. In every semester there are two practical.

In my time there was a internship program combined with HCL but students has to pay. So no support in terms of getting proper experience. It was more of classroom training than working in real environment.

No placements in 2012 batch for BCA, 2 companies came i guess but 1 was fake and taking money from students as a security amount. I heard college is doing some efforts and students have been placed in some ok companies in recent years. The placement cell is quite active now.

Well quite many like Diwali carnival which is the big one and also considered as official fresher party and other small like janmastmi , farewell, etc. If you have some talent you can perform their and faculty is quite supportive for all these activities.

The fee structure is reasonable considering GGSIP and comparing the fees of other private universities. The college may increase every year depending on the batch and circumstances. There are two structures one is university fees which also include college fees and students has to pay combined in one DD every year.

If I remeber there was an EMI options to pay fees from college or university, but students can avail loan from banks to pay fees and university allows that criteria.

As usual girls mostly do not opt for technical courses so male students were more. The college also offers LAW and BBA courses in which gender ratio is good. The curricular activities are conducted and students are given a platform to showcase skills.

Hostel is not some great place but its quite good, considering locality and expensive. If you rent a place there, it would be quite cheap. The food was good. There is no college hostel but a private one opposite college. The hostel has a restaurant down stairs which is good and even the food is served to students from same kitchen.

The seniors were very helpful but no alumni was conducted during my time. The college conducted some good cultural functions which were the good moments.

Every 6 months exams are conducted and centers are allotted to students for examination. They are mostly other colleges of GGSIP university. The backs are also reattempted in same examinations. If a student failed in particular exam they have to reattempt that subject next year.

After applying in GGSIP university, candidates receives their ranks. The counseling is held by the university and based on rank candidates are called. This takes time. In the series colleges are filled, once the rank is called university gives you options of colleges left and students has to choose out of them. They can take admission in counseling process by paying university and college fees.

The college was new in my time and faculty was just ok, well come teachers were very good and students oriented. I still share great bonding with them. Some faculty were not that knowledgeable that time, since its long time, I believe the college is doing good job in hiring correct people.
