To get admission here the candidate needs to follow these certain criteria Pass 12th standard The cut-off for BA courses is 80% for Bsc courses is 85% and for Bcom is 70%. This college has three shifts Morning for Girls Day for coed Evening for Boys They have good subject combinations for GE subjects General students can also apply if they don't want an honors background.

I chose BA English Hons because from childhood I had a liking for the subject very much. The student ratio depends according to the streams such as commerce and science has greater student ratio. In my class, the student ratio is 40 students. The academic faculty is very well coordinated. The professors help with every question you have. There are interactive class sessions for everyone to participate and understand their courses. Throughout the three-year course there are 6 semesters, two exams a year. The question is set directly from Calcutta University. The questions are set according to the student education standard.

There is one fest that is conducted for the Freshers every year by the college union and it takes place beside the college. Mostly conducted in the month of September. There is a library with huge stock of books in every field for the students. Some Auditorium size classrooms, others are normal size classrooms, with projector room and computer room. Good maintained restrooms and changing rooms for girls, large space laboratories for experiments. Extracurricular is basically concentrated on art clubs, debate clubs, science clubs, maths clubs. There is no inclusion of Sports. The college union is run by students.
