College management was helpful, but i still feel that there should have been no shift in the college faculty that actually affects students and their comfort levels in college.

I was a student at Patker college for HSC Science, however i didn't score well in my HSC board and also the CET exam there after , so had to switch to another field asap to avoid wastage of a year from my career. this was the reason i joined bachelor of management studies in the same college.

The curriculum of BMS is divided in three years and six semester where in the overall development of the students is intended in the first year we had basics of all subjects. like for example - basics of accountancy basics of business law. small project and assignment. Second year the actual management phase begans. PowerPoint presentation begans, we understand the importance of team work. group studies internal exams and lots of college celebration in the third year we get lots of on field experience. industrial visits field work and also as its the last year some memorable and quality time are spend along with the professor to gain their knowledge about the practical world we all would be facing in few months.

Internship was not offered however Placement were offered to us companies like SUPREME PETROCHEM, NOKIA, MITASHI, TM PRINTERS, VODAFONE had approached and had provided roughly a package of 200000.00 pa.

Events and college go hand in hand first year we missed out few event as we all were new to the place but later years went smooth the enthusiasm was absolutely outstanding we also been part of le fatur fest. le fatur is our college fest wherein the total fest lasts for a week and all the arrangement's are by students only committees are formed works are delegated. deadlines passion all fun.

The BMS course is not that expensive at all, as it is a semi professional course still installment facilty has been offered to the students and concession to the needy the fee structure accommodates all facilities like project work college stationery, lab fees, lab accessories and self defense KIT.

No i never availed any scholarship or loan facility from my college, neither i heard any of my fellow classmates of BMS availing it.

Campus life at patkar college is awesome you can never be left aloof in the college the lectures the auditorium, the nss office canteen is all super fun the boys and girls weren't in equal ratio, but the intensity level was equivalent both of them have achieved good honors for the college.

Hostel service wasn't available in the course i was studying. however a new building was form and rumor was around that this building was built for hostel services the mess as in the canteen has good food. it had both the menus Chinese as well as indian.

I feel very fortunate to have had the opportunities at Patkar College. I always tell people that if I could have attained my MMS from I would have stayed in Patkar I believe ardently since leaving Patkar that community colleges are the real melting pots of higher learning. They facilitate the education of many people from different ages, cultures and social status. And when people have a larger understanding of the .human experience, they become better artists and better people.

Exam were in semester pattern exam were divided in two parts internals and External in the ratio of 40-60 where in surviving in both exams was made compulsory internals were held by the internal faculty and the external were help by the written test. the results were soon announced displaying on the notice board.

The admission process at patkar college is very simple the teaching staff, the non teaching staff, the hospitality members, all are very helpful the arrangements made by them were absolutely superb the admission was purely on merit basis the admission here in Patkar College was divided in three different wings Arts Science and Commerce. so the students from field can join in the stream there were staff heads who made sure to help the students and their parents with the forms and attachment the exact definition of term and condition were explained the results were normally disclosed on notice board with names and cut off percentage besides it the students who could get through the cut off list were counselled the teaching staff provided them guidance also the fee structure was explained by the adviser there thus making the admission process smooth.

Faculties of Patkar College during my session were fantastic for the first two years at the end of the second year we experience a shift in the college faculty all are professor suddenly opted for jobs in the masters college across mumbai at first it was so difficult to adjust with the new faculty as it was altogether a new effort to build up the rapo with the new faculty but as said all went smoothly later on. we got used to them and they got used to us.
