Remarks
I haven't applied to any of the colleges other than IBS. I have not availed of any quota for admission. Our admission criteria were all into three steps First step was the IBSAT exam, the second step was GD and the third step was PI.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose MBA because I want to pursue my career in the business line. All the faculties are highly qualified with doctorate degrees. The teaching method includes project work, corporate visits, case studies that really help in building practical knowledge as well as theoretical knowledge. There is a four-month gap between the two semesters. It would be quite difficult if you don't study from day one. One night's study will not help you secure good marks.
Internships Opportunities
There are almost 100-150 companies that recruit us for internships. Different sectors like banking, real estate, B2B companies, retail, market research organizations, media and entertainment, advertising agencies, etc.
Placement Experience
Students are eligible after their internship and almost after the third semester. The big 4 companies along with many MNCs come with different job roles regarding sales, research, and other back-office desk jobs. The highest salary is 18-20 lakhs PA and the average salary is 7-8 lakhs PA. 95-100% students get placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
The course fee is 801000/-. We can pay it in total 5 installments. There are many banking and NBFCs which are tied with our college that provide financial assistance to students in the form of a study loan. College also provides a summer internship program in many of the organizations that are in different sectors. They also provide a good stipend as well.
Campus Life
Our annual fest name is KONFLUX and it is conducted in January. Coming to books and journals in the library, you can get an A to Z of management. Air-conditioned classrooms with projectors. The sports and extracurricular activites are conducted by the clubs run by the students. There are many clubs including marketing and finance clubs, song, dance, sports, etc.
Interview Experience
My topic of GD during the interview was 'Bullet trains or better roads'. Interview questions were related to economy, politics, and domain knowledge of what you have pursued in your graduation. The best preparation would be reading current affairs.
