In very clear cut language. If you have any choice of any other good college, go for it but if you have only option of studying from UPTU colleges and could not crack for Gov colleges, BBD is not a bad option. If you are placement oriented, trust me this is not the place to be.

I took UPTU exam and got 18000 rank. As my family was not ready to sent me somewhere far, and BBDNITM was one of the best college of UPTU listed private colleges, I chose this one.

I would not really give you any fake information and hence the structure is not at that extent what I expected. Staff and teachers are well experienced but a student needs to run behind them and need to show his/her own interest to do something extraordinary.

Yes it does but only for below poverty line students. Stipend amount is almost 50% of the tuition fee and my experience as a whole is just good about it.

Frankly speaking its very poor. There are only 2 MNCs which comes alternate years and the package they offer is very very less compared to market standards. They give you calls for job fairs and all but even that is of no use because many people did not get their joining for the job fair companies.

BBD College festival is well known festival in the city which is named as UTKARSH. It is organised by college's official forums and conducted in a well planned way. There are several events on technical, cultural and literary and sports. Many colleges of state universities are invited and even students of BBD get the chance to showcase their talent in IITs and NITs which is sponsored by college authorities.

For a middle class family, it is expensive only as the fee goes beyond 1 lac for tuition. Other than all this there are several other fees and the campus hostel is really too expensive (and the food quality is too poor). all total it comes 1.7-1.8 lacs for a year of your course.

There is nothing offered by college. Loans you can take on your own requests directly from banks. Scholarships are provided be the state gov not by the college authorities.

There is good ratio maintained in few courses but in courses like mechanical engg etc, there are ofcourse less girls as most of us do not prefer Mech Engg. There are several workshops for robotics and events. You can participate within the college and outside the college as well.

Security wise its good enough. They have very restrict rules for outings and attendances. Wardens are sometimes strict and sometimes sweet. They have badminton court and a common TV room available but then the food quality is really disappointing in the campus hostel.

They are helpful but sometimes misleading. I would suggest to be connected to more than 2 people and then believe what you feel like to be true.

Exams are always very strict and very fair there. I would suggest students not to underestimate any subject even if you are too good at it. There is no certain structure of the question paper. So study hard for good marks. Exams are being conducted by UPTU not by individual private colleges.

After receiving my score card, I went for the UPTU Counseling and opt for few colleges, there they announced the results of who got into which college and then we went to college for the fee payment and rest of the formalities. College accepted only draft for the fee payment.

Like most of the other UPTU colleges, in BBDNITM also the faculties just come attend the lecture and leave the class. And also like most of the students do not take interest in the class, but if you are kind of one who want to grow, have enough opportunities available.
