The truth

I applied for courses related to mathematics in DU, and for biotechnology at BHU and GBU. I chose GBU because it provides hostel and mess at an affordable rate on top of that, it's a state government university. Admission in GBU is very easy, there is an entrance exam that does not have any negative marking. There was no age limit as much as I can remember, but you should have 12th class score more than 65%

I chose this course because I think this course will come in handy in the future, and I can learn everything I want to learn in this course. The faculty is friendly, easy to talk to and try their best to teach. Faculties all are very highly educated, graduated from well-known colleges like JNU, AIIMS, etc.

Roles offered in the internships are accountant, or they train you before you start officially but they pay you for that, some students go into management, or corporate jobs. There is a low number of placements for students pursuing b.tech in the mechanical field but there is a large number of placements for the MBA program.

Placements are provided in the last year. The average package is 5-6 lakh. Students having cgpa above 7 are qualified for any placement. My plans after the degree are to get a job from either placement from college or on my own and save some money till I collect enough money to invest in my business.

Hostel and mess fees are 65000 per annum and academic fees are 49500 per semester, those who belong to some category get a scholarship (above 50000) and they pay 49500 academic fees for a whole year, unlike other students. The scholarship is provided by UP scholarship.

There is an annual sports day called "shouryaotsav" at the start of January and there is a food fest like "dawat-e-GBU" in august and an annual fest called "abhivyanjana" in the month of October. The library is one of the most beautiful places on campus and filled with interesting books and spacious. Enormous fields for a variety of sports are situated in GBU.

Facilities are really great in comparison to other colleges /universities. There are docents who keep the hostel and mess in check. Mess food is really amazing in comparison to other universities. It includes milk in breakfast every day and they provide dessert after dinner and on Sunday chhole bhature is included in the meal. Hostel and mess fee is affordable .i.e. Rs 65000. There is no need for any PG, hostel is enough
