No, I Didn't apply to any other colleges. And I did apply for the Muslim quota but got admission under the general category as my marks were good. One can apply for this course if they have got 50% or above marks in their graduation. The examination was held offline. The students who cleared the entrance examination got an option to either give their interview offline or online.
Course Curriculum Overview
In international business, we read different subjects in all the semesters. I wanted to learn about business and business strategies from an international perspective and so luckily I got admission here. Permanent faculties are really experienced and their way of teaching is really good. These semesters were a bit small as the admission process were late due to pandemic. We had open book exams but questions were approach-based. It was challenging but also interesting at the same time.
Internships Opportunities
As of now, more than 50 organizations have provided internship opportunities. Companies like The outlook group, Faishon TV, Big Basket, etc. have provided internship opportunities in almost all the domains. Stipends are also being offered.
Placement Experience
CMS has its own placement cell apart from the Placement university placement cell. As of now, more than 50 organizations have provided internship opportunities. Talking about job opportunities, the average package is 6lacs.
Fees and Financial Aid
This is a self-financed course thus its fees are a bit higher than other courses in Jamia. But overall you can really do MBA for almost Rs 50,000. Fees for the NRI quota are different. The center for management studies has its own placement cell apart from the University placement cell. Internship and placement opportunities are good.
Campus Life
There are various clubs and societies.CMS library has a good collection of management books and magazines. One can also issue books from the central library. Smart classrooms, auditorium, and conference rooms are there. Different departments in Jamia have their own fest. Apart from department clubs and societies are clubs,NGO's are there for extracurricular activities. Jamia has a national-level sports complex too.
Interview Experience
Yes, we had GD and PI. My topic for GD was "history repeats itself or not". The topics for other groups were basically on Current affairs and few got abstract topics. To apply here you have to apply for the entrance examination on the Jamia portal. I studied quants,qualitative,english, and also current affairs.
