Review on Birla Global University

I applied to BGU and got selected on the basis of merit. I've not availed of any quota for admission. For selection in BGU, one needs to have a percentage equal to and above 80% and there is no age limit for UG admissions. The admission procedure for the undergraduate program consists of one interview.

I have an interest in learning management, hence I chose BBA. All the faculties here are very experienced. Their teaching method is unique and creative. Term exams were held timely. In the pandemic also, our college manages to conduct the exam smoothly without any hindrance.

Companies that offer placements are Swiggy, TCS, Byjus, Nerolac, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Flipkart, Zomato, Mahindra Infotech, L&T infotech, Gillette, etc. Roles offered by the company sales agent, data analyst, digital marketer, human resource assistant, customer relations management and many more. The stipend is between 10000-15000 per month.

There are no fixed criteria for internship. Student can become intern from their first semester. Students can apply for college placements after the 4th semester. The highest is 7 lakhs per annum and the average is 4 lakhs per annum for an undergraduate course. The percentage of students getting placement is 97%.

Fees are high in BGU. Both for tution and hostel. Though, the college gives scholarship to students above 80% marks. It also provides the necessary financial assistance for the needful students. There is no job in which you can get a stipend in college.

Freshers are conducted in the month of September and October. Another college fest has no fixed date and the conducted as per the convenience of the college. The library is good. The college has AC classrooms, a projector and a smartboard to facilitate modern-day learning. Our college also organises different sports events and festivals. We have different clubs and conduits for conducting different events.

Hostels are good and properly maintained by college management. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning. Each hostel has its own common room for students to spend time and relax. The mess is very good and well maintained. The menu includes both veg and non-veg food as well as north Indian and south Indian.
