Personal BGU experience

I didn't attend the colleges that I had applied for apart from BGU is because it was close to my home. Hence, convenient. I didn't avail any quota. It was on a merit basis. After they saw my 10th and 12th report card, they admitted me. The admission process was nice. There was a bit of counselling when I was choosing my honours. In the end, I went for Digital Marketing.

I chose BBA (H) Digital Marketing because I saw the booming potential in this field. Plus, I was dead set to go into the Management field. The faculty-student ratio is 1:60. Though it varies from subject to subject. In specialization class, it was a 1:13 ratio. Many of the faculties were having a Master's degree from one of the highly reputed national Universities and some were PhDs in their respective fields. All exams were conducted on time even during the Pandemic. The exams were around medium difficulty mostly.

The fees in 2019 were 4.5 lakh. In 2020 the fees were hiked to 6 lakhs for the new batch. For the 2021 batch, it'll be 5 lakhs. The scholarship isn't provided. Neither id Financial assistance nor Job that I'm aware of at the BBA level. Same case for the stipend.

We have had different fests. Such as BGU fest, Sports fest, Freshers, Farewells and other Discipline-based inter-college competitions. The Library in BGU is sufficient with all the important course textbooks available. Also, a wide variety of books that we can get issued to take and read. Good enough for a bibliophile. In the classrooms, we have a projector and a PC desktop present in all classrooms. All have in-built ACs and a huge whiteboard. The seating arrangement is convenient and the classrooms are fairly spacious. We have football, badminton, basketball, cricket and volleyball grounds. Indoor sports such as table tennis and chess are played too. Band practice, dance practice And practice for fashion shows also happen. Currently, only the Fashion show team and Sports team have their own Instagram pages where we used to post. Due to the Pandemic, there isn't much activity.
