After completing my HS. I started finding out a good college where I can continue my further studies in Automobile because I studied Automobile for last 4 years in my school whare I completed NSDC Automobile Cource from level 1 to 4. One of my Automobile Sir suggested me this college 'Dr. Sudhir Chandra Sur Institute Of Technology And Sports Complex' or (Sur Tech). The Admission Process where nice. It was quick and easy. The admission criteria basically you can join this college by attending Jexpo entrance exam or direct admission process, but indirect admission process the criteria is your Marks of secondary examination should be more than 45% in science group.
Course Curriculum Overview
It was the time when I was in class 8, my school introduced me to this subject "Automobile", I have completed NSDC 4 level course in the school from that time I'm very much interested in Automobile. I'm very much interested in an Automobile that's why I chose this field, but this interest turned into Love because of our faculty members of my Automobile department. Faculty members are highly qualified in their field and which thing I like the most that is the way they transfer their knowledge to us. They use a modern approach to understand everything easily. In my department, the total strength of my class is 30.
Internships Opportunities
Our college provides us with various internship opportunities. We have registered ourselves in AICTE-TULIP portals for other opportunities. This week, we will be applying for an internship drive with a puna based company ELECTION.
Placement Experience
The students became eligible for placement from the 6th semester onwards. Our College trains us for good placement. A lot of companies visit our college as, TATA AIG, REPOSE ENERGY, CHEGG INDIA, SIGMA ELECTRICS, SKH METALS, HYUNDAI. The average percentage of Placement is near about (75% - 85%).
Fees and Financial Aid
In the Automobile Diploma course, the fees structure is 1,35,000/-. Our college provides many cast system scholarships. And also provides us with our state government Scholarship, like as Swami Vivekananda Scholarship.
Campus Life
Our college campus is really nice. We have almost everything according to our need. Our campus is full of greenary, the nightlife of our campus is very good, the wintertime on our campus is awesome. Our college campus located in a very calm and nice place just outside of Kolkata City which is farther from the main city. Our college conducts a Tech fest in the month of March. And still even, in this pandemic situation, the tech fest is being held in virtual mode. Presently, a lot of cultural activities are going on in the virtual model. Our college library is really big, we have a lot of book's of many writers of our course but apart from that we also have many books apart from the regular syllabus in our library. And mostly I can say proudly our campus is ragging free campus.
