Remarks
SVNIT Surat BTech and Integrated MSc admission 2021 is done basis on a candidate's performance in the JEE Main followed by JoSAA/CSAB Counselling. The students are eligible to apply only if they pass 10+2 with PCM with 50% aggregate and have qualified JEE Main.
Course Curriculum Overview
There are classes of 80 students and 40 students in practical. All faculty are highly qualified and highly experienced. And the teaching method is also very good. In SVNIT, there are 18 weeks for 1 semester. In one semester, there are 2 class tests, 1 mid sem, 1 make up mid semester (for those who failed in the first mid sem exam), practical viva, practical exam, and end sem exam. If you are attending all lectures and solve examples it is easy to pass the exam.
Placement Experience
I know Mechanical Engineering has low placement compare to computer engineering and other soft branches, but in the case of SVNIT Surat there mechanical engineering average placement is 3.5 to 12.5 lakh per annum, so I selected Mechanical in SVNIT.
Fees and Financial Aid
SVNIT Surat fee structure for B.Tech is INR 1,54,000 for 1st, 2nd and 3rd year and INR 1,34,000 for 4th year. If your family income less than 1,00,000 then you get a full tution fee waiver of 1,25,000 every year. If your family income less than 5,00,000 then you get a 2/3 waiver of the tution fee mean you get 83,000 for every year.
Campus Life
There are many tech fests by technical club Drishti. There are also conducting an annual fest. There is Gujarat's largest cultural and technical fest SPARSH which has participants from all over Gujarat with around 5000 people coming from all over India and stays in college during the events. There are also cubs for singing, dancing, photography, acting, video shooting, story writing, painting etc.
