Remarks

I applied for Allahabad University and Ewing Christian College, but as AU doesn't offer BSc microbiology, so I opted for the latter. No, I didn't avail any quota for admission. The college conducts its own examination and after 3-4 days result is out, and then with the result copy, fee receipt, and mark sheets, counseling is done and the seat is secured.

I chose this course because it comes with a very relatable combination, i.e. Botany, zoology, and microbiology. Total no. Of seats are fixed to 60, and two teachers are in the microbiology department, and both are well aware and passionate. Exams and classes were smooth before covid, but at this time classes are going on very smoothly and regularly.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 23000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

My fees for the first year were Rs. 23000/-, which in the second year got reduced to 21000/- and as a general student, I am not legible for any scholarships. And there is no such job I got yet in the campus.

Campus Life

In the month of January 2020, we had our annual fest. All kinds of books are available in the library and are available to all the students, plus a study-in Library is also well equipped. Football, basketball, and badminton courts are present on the Campus.

According to me you should choose Brahmanand College but as I wanted more practicals then theory work but it is not like that here because you get more time to study and practicals were less .Exams' timings were sometimes morning, afternoon so you will have to manage yourself accordingly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'd rate the curriculum 4/5. Topics like programing and data structures are super relevant.it prepares us for tech roles, but could include more hands on projects and industry tools. More focus on emerging tech like Ai /ML would be awesome. Exams are semester wise and okay.areas for improvement: internships, coding challenges,and guest lectures from pros. Solid foundation overall !

As the faculty teachers and all the staff was very good and the faculty teachers of the science were very fabulous in education causes me to choose this course... The curriculum here was in terms of social interaction was ok but it was not that good for the future real world academic pursuits as their were not that much activities for the social appearance... In terms of course curriculum and teaching method this college doesn't need much improvements because it is much better according to teaching method , as the teachers were good in terms of teaching... The timing and frequency was having much gap between one semester exam and the other semester exam , so there were not much difficulty in giving exams according to my perspective...

I learnt a lot from this college and from its surroundings as well ,very supportive and good college.

Placement Experience:

There is no placement after Bsc but there is placement after pursuing BCA ,BCom BBA from the same college,the average package is 3lpa ,the companies visited are asra foundation and tata etc . About 80% of students placed in different companies and all got in internships.

The admission was taken through CUET exam which is conducted all over the India. Application fee for the CUET exam is required only.
