Remarks

I had applied for GIM, welingkar and liba. but I chose MDI Murshidabad because I was more concerned about the ROI and this had the best out of all. The criteria for MDIM was 70 and above in cat and no other examination is acceptable.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course they teach is PGPM which is an MBA equivalent course that has a dynamic syllabus according to a new change in patterns and cases as the pedagogy is the same as of MDI which is a case study-based approach. The faculty are very qualified. exams are conducted every trimester i.e. 4 months. Exams were quite easy.

Class Size: 132Course Fees: INR 1150000 per year

Placement Experience

College placement can be considered as average as provided in the placement report it is 9.5 lakh as average and every student gets placed. In the average LPA, both the fixed and variable pay is added up which boosts up the total salary but the in hand salary is much lower than expected.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees including the hostel and lodging were 11.5 lakhs for two years. Not as it is been conducted online the fees has been reduced to 8-9 lakh for 2 years. There are no scholarships awarded. Loans can be easily availed the lowest interest rate is offered by SBI under scholar loan.

Campus Life

Our batch did not go for campus therefore there is no campus life. Clubs are numerous mainly in the 4 different fields of Marketing finance operations and HR. Books are provided online (ebooks). Other clubs such as toga Prayas Ecell are also there.

Interview Experience

3.5

I faced both gd and interview for selection. In gd, there were 2 panelists and 5 participants who were given a topic and allowed to discuss for 5 minutes. Then there was an interview for about 8-10 min. I had prepared for these rounds from YouTube videos.

The placement record in my college is preety good. 80-90% students are already placed this year. Average package is around 9.5lpa. Companies like ICICI, KPMG, PWC, Vedanta, Mother Dairy and so many are coming for recuiting students.

Placement is a race here. Handfull of good companies with good roles will come but they take good chunk of students. So be prepare for that and don't worry about getting good companies, here many companies offers better packages than those good companies.

Placements are good sometimes but not exactly sure because some batches are not placed somes are placed or somes are not then they trying to get placement for own if i talk about the percentage of placement then i would say 60% not 100%,for 3rd semester students are eligible for placement & one terms is here that is 75% attendance is mandatory for getting placement, i have visited 3-4 companies & they offer 3.7-4 lpa package,my plan after getting the degree, firstly i looking for a company around 4-5lpa package then i started to develop my self

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose the course only because of our HOD, but after completing my course, he left the course. He has helped us with all the things like web development and seo skills. By doing it practically for every student, he offers a domain for every student. I had difficulty with Google Ads & meta ads because it was taught by another faculty. The exam times were different by 3 months.

We get from internship opportunities and placement from our college. Companies like Reliance, ITC, Rollick, cavin kare, Reckitt, EY and many visit our campus for final placement. We become eligible to appear for placement from the 3rd semester onwards

Till now I am seeing in my own eyes that in previous year, there is a 270 student in marketing and now right now the 15 student left to place and rest of the team are already placed to a many companies like ENYF Flipkart in Bandan Bank ICICI bank in a mini sector in FMCG also and FMCT also, but and retail, but I told that the ratio of placement is too higher than other college and also giving the good package is. The main thing with the job rule should be maintain the package.
