GBS has conducted the GBSAT entrance exam I have written this exam and cleared this exam. Next we had Personal interview conducted by our college dean. Later I also got good ranking through PGCET I scored 2075. Later I got admitted to GBS. And I have not applied to any of the colleges except GBS. As GBS is one of the best college in the North Karnataka region.
Course Curriculum Overview
As I am interested in numbers I choose to do my master's in finance. Faculties at Global Business School are very friendly they care about each and every student they build a personal relationship with every student so that students can easily clarify their doubt and also faculties helps to improve students who are lagging behind. Coming to qualification of faculties almost all faculties are PHD holders Global Business School only choose best of the best faculties. And the sessions taken by all faculties will be fun-learning sessions as we students doesn't feel bore to listen to lecture. Faculties grab the attention of students by giving them some activities and these activities are like implementing the theoretical acpects to practical way. Exams. Usually, every 6months one term gets over but this time for us what happened is due to covid-19 Karnataka University has not provided any guidelines regarding exams.
Internships Opportunities
Internship offer at Global Business School rates very well they make sure that all students get the opportunity to do their internship as I am still at 2nd sem I did not experience any interviews relating to the internship.
Placement Experience
Placements offered at our college are very good they train us from 1sem itself to get placed at any company like conducting GD's mock interviews and apptitude tests every now and then. Average salary package offered is 3.52 lakh approximately every year their will be 97% placement done. My plan is to get placed at a finance sector job as i am interested in numbers.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees we pay for Global Business School is most worthy, because in 3.25 lakh(govt quota) they will provide us laptop, canteen facility, books and domestic trip. Scholarships like if we score above 85% we have a discount of 10000 and if we score above 90% we get discount of 15000.
Campus Life
Every year they conduct an event call Galcto which is a state-level fest. Book and journals at library is like we have everything that we need to have for MBA around 60000 books we had at library which includes fiction and non fiction books. Sports at Global Business School is called as Pinnacle we have intra-inter pinnacle every year. We have many committees at our college among these committee we also have CSR committee which look after the social activities.
Interview Experience
Written test was quite difficult. We had aptitude-type questions. But we had the mock test and the final one this helped me to clear the aptitude round. And the interview was normal they asked us about our interests and some general questions related to MBA.
