With excellence there is always a small amount of disgrace

After my 12th grade, I had applied for mmk College and HR college , both BMS . HR college's location was too far and MMK college was convenient as per travelling , hence i chose MMK Coll No quota was availed by me. Admission was done on merit basis of our 12th score . The cut-off for admission in the list where i was there was 75%. The admission process was very smooth , we had instructors guiding us for the forms and other necessities .

The course BMS is bachelors in management studies . This course gave me the exposure to both marketing and finance in the first year and then we can choose oir elective , so it helped me remove my confusion and hence i choose this course. For every subject there was a different faculty member . And each class there were 60 students hence the ratio is 1:60. The faculty members are well qualified in their field with PHD lr masters degree as well as professional experience as well for eg CAs and industrialists. We have 6 semesters and each semester has one external exam and one internal exam both were moderately difficult

Motilal Oswal, internshtheory, exchange4media and some other institutes provided internship opportunities , with base roles of telemarketing and sales , unpaid to 5000 per month Some projects included economics conference and some were diamond jubilees

From the 3rd semester, we started receiving job offers and internship offers Major companies that came were motilal oswal, affinity.com , asthania estates , momentum , saint gobain. Highest package offered was 400000 per annum and average 300000 per annum Atleast 20% students get through college placements. I plan on studying further i.e MBA and enhancing my CV by completing projects and internships

The fee was around 19000 per year, which included the library cost . In online lectures it was the same which raises some questions . Apart from that since I'm a resident of Mumbai i didn't face hostel charges and per month 2000 in terms of traveling The toppers of each semester get scholarship of maximum 1000rs , as of yet no financial assistance but they do provide with job offers and schedule interviews on the campus.

We had 2 annual fests in 2 years that is Lakshya and Enthusia. Lakshya took place in January 2019 and enthusia took place in January 2020. These fests gave us the opportunity of becoming heads, vice-presidents, and presidents. I got the chance of becoming head, VP as well as president over the course of 3 years Books and journals are available in the library along with eBooks Classrooms are well equipped with projectors, A/Cs , monitor, blackboard, and comfortable benches A cricket, football, basketball and badminton team is chosen every year. Apart from that, we get the opportunity of participating in many competitions not just sports but cultural as well as literature. Dance and fashion teams are also made for many such competitions Lastly, we have a Finance and economics club for which one can become a member for fun activities and seminars or get a chance to be the head/VP / president of the club through interviews and another round of selections
