Remarks

I am proud to be a Birla School of Law student. The assignments have been educational and creative so far. The teachers are the nicest. They provide recordings when we miss classes. The minimum qualification for admission is completion of 12th boards and qualifying CLAT entrance exam.

Course Curriculum Overview

Law has always been my passion so I chose to study in a reputed college as BSOL. The students are cooperative and enthusiastic. We have 60 students in my batch having girls in the higher ratio. The faculty is very trustworthy and helping. The assignments have been very creative and educational. Online exams were conducted very smoothly. The standard of questions were very elite. The faculty has a precise marking scheme.

Internships Opportunities

I have been working under various reputed law firms as an intern. I have been working by doing case studies, interviewing renounced lawyers, and talking to them about their dream cases. The internships have been educational.

Placement Experience

As soon as the 5th semester gets over students become eligible for campus placement based on their CGPAS. 80% of the students get placed in top companies every year. My plan after graduation is working at a law firm.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is 1.2Lakhs per annum, special scholarships have been provided by the institution depending on the percentage. The infrastructure is beautiful. We get the best facilities with amazing campus ambience and food.

Campus Life

The ambiance is beautiful with amazing campus life and food facilities. We have indoor as well as outdoor sports events and games. The campus is quite huge. We have a variety of books in the library and the moot court sessions are really lively with a proper moot court hall.

Placement Experience:

In the 9th semester the students become eligible to sit for placements. Barucha and associates, Delloitte, Wadia and Gandhi, HDFC Ergo, Bajaj Finance are some of the companies which offered placement at our college. The Highest package was 15 lakhs and the average lpa was 4 lpa Around 50 percentage of students got placed.

THE LIFE AT NLUO

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities are pretty good actually. Almost 35-40% of the students get placements and many others get pre placement offers. Even the average package is 10 lakhs per annum. Reputed companies like Indus Law, Trilegal, Khaitan visit the campus.

Life in NLUO

Placement Experience:

Placement is quite ok in NLU Odisha, mainly company visit the campus during final year of student for placement. Many students secure Pre Placement offer while internship during their penultimate year or last year. I think average package will gone upto 7-8 Lakh per annum.

Placement Experience:

Many corporate houses as legal teans are something that everyone wants and thus we are always in demand. From ITC group to RP Sanjeev Goenka Group and latest entrants were Suzlon and Birla Paper. Also, top tier firms like Bharuch and others also have approached our college lately for placements.

Placement Experience:

In 5years integrated course of Law, students are eligible for getting placements in 9th sem out of 10th. & in 4year courses, students become eligible in 7th sem out of 8th as well. There should be no backlogs of tge student & the student should score more than 6CGPA of marks. After getting my degree I have planned for joking the academics lecturership in thus University.

The placements are overall good . About 70% students get placements with an overall annual average of 4 lakhs . Every year about 20 companies visit the campus and each company selects about 10 students .

Placement Experience:

I plan to pursue LLM after graduating. The highest package has gone to 21 Lakhs and the average is around 3-4 lakhs. Certain companies like hdfc ergo come to campus. But max people don't get very high packages.
